If you're beating yourself up over your imperfect state, don't worry! You're not the first, or the last. God sees through to your heart. Have a look at the list below, and just thank God that He loves us anyway!

Abraham lied.
Sarah laughed at God’s promises.
Moses stuttered.
David’s armor didn’t fit.
John Mark was rejected by Paul.
Timothy had ulcers.
Hosea’s wife was a prostitute.
Amos’ only training was in the school of fig-tree pruning.
Jacob was a liar.
David had an affair.
Solomon was too rich.
Abraham was too old.
David was too young.
Peter was afraid of death.
Lazarus was dead.
John was self-righteous.
Naomi was a widow.
Paul was a murderer.
So was Moses.
So was David.
Jonah ran from God.
Miriam was a gossip.
Gideon and Thomas both doubted.
Jeremiah was depressed and suicidal.
Elijah was burned out.
John the Baptist was a loudmouth.
Martha was a worry-wart.
Mary may have been lazy.
Samson had long hair.
Noah got drunk.
Did I mention Moses had a short fuse?
So did Peter, Paul and lots of folks.

AND, what did God say about David? A man after His own heart is what He said. Just goes to show the loving forgiveness of God. AND they were living under The Law, not Grace like us.

Yep! Even tho we are all imperfect sinners, Jesus loves us anyway!

That's one of my favorite verses too. It seems that God chose the most beggerly cases to show off the magnitude of His grace. God is so good!
