i have a precise P18 that i stack 3.0 batteries and i'm looking for something to use my 18650 batteries for. 3.7 doesn't do it for me anymore, so would the XL4 actually give 4.2 volts on an 18650 or is that a pipedream? I like the size of the Xl3/4's.

is there a light on there that tells you what volts or is it a screw thingie on the bottom to change from 3.7 to 4.2?

also the XL4 says there is no off on it. ???? is the thing always ON?

thank you. have it in my cart, but not sure if it's useful to me or not

The XL4 will work as a mechanical mod, when you use an 18650 battery. That means that if your battery is fresh off the charger, it will show 4.2 or 4.1V without load. Under load, about 3.8V.

If you place two 18350 batteries in the XL4, it becomes a selectable mod. 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0V selections. The lights change per the voltage.

The XL4 doesn't have a way of turning it off, so the button is always live. Of course, if the button isn't pressed, it isn't firing.
