We need more people to stand up and call out Glantz as the liar and charlatan that he is.

The Canadian Vaping Association’s Response to Professor Glantz

While Canadians live through these unprecedented times surrounding the COVID-19 crisis, Stanton Glantz continues to spread false information regarding nicotine vape products. Glantz comments as quoted in the CTV article “How smoking, vaping and drug use might increase risks from COVID-19” not only show his bias against vaping but the complete lack of any facts to support his claims.

Our thanks to Greg Conley who is always so eloquence. With Glantz's history of falsehood, personally I am more inclined to directly call Glantz the liar and charlatan that he is.

“Even during a pandemic, activists and government bureaucrats are willing to risk their credibility by trying to tie nicotine vaping products to COVID-19,” said Gregory Conley, president of the American Vaping Association. “Lung injuries and deaths that occurred last year were caused by illicit, contaminated THC products, not nicotine vaping products, so during this pandemic, it is important that cannabis consumers stay away from street-bought vape pens. However, adult smokers should not be scared away from using these smoke-free products by misplaced fears being pushed by those with no care or regard for adults desperately seeking to quit smoking.”
