coughing at night

One thing that i am quite convinced of is that prolonged vaping has made me cough at night.
I have been vaping nearly a year now and i get coughing spams during the night.
I take a few hits and the cough disappears instantly, and I fall back to sleep.

The cough is dry...no mucus...just a huge tickle in the throat.
could be the nicotine irritating it during the day.
I vape VG , so PG is out of the picture.

I wake up at least once a night with a cough just like you described too! I take a few sips of water and it goes away. It happens almost every night though. I thought I was the only one!
I vape 4-8mg nic with PG.

I've actually LOST my cough since Ive been vaping but Ive only been doing it for 2 weeks. I had developed a smoker cough that began to wake me up at night, and also before I went to sleep I would cough for about an hour Always a productive cough but sometimes it took a while to cough something up. Then I'd sleep until a few hours later when i would wake up coughing.
Since vaping I dont cough hardly at all when I lay down and never wake to cough.
Do you guys drink heaps during vaping?
Do you vape right before (and I mean right before) falling asleep?
I'm just wondering if you have similarities.

I don't generally vape right before going to sleep. Sometimes, but not alot. Like, one or two puffs.
I don't drink 'tons' of water when I vape. I do drink some, but not alot. I also don't drink water right before I go to bed.
