Considering to buy eVic

So I went through alot of products on many vendors, the provari seems like a nice device but the price tag seems a little high. I'm considering an evic but I got some questions.

For those that have eVics

Is it eGo compatible?
Is it 310 compatible?
Is it chargeable via USB?
Will it give me a great vape experience?
Is it durable?

IS IT WORTH IT?

Thanks.

Is it eGo compatible? YES
Is it 310 compatible? NO, but it is 510 compatible
Is it chargeable via USB? YES
Will it give me a great vape experience? Probably. If you enjoy vaping over 11 watts or 5 volts, it's not the device for you though. You're going to need to find some sort of juice delivery that works for you. THAT and your juice determines your vapor and flavor.

Is it durable? It's not the most durable PV ever made, to be honest. But some folks drop them and they survive.

IS IT WORTH IT? I'd say so.. You can find them for WELL under $100 these days. Shop around. Don't spend $100 on it.

Thanks great reply.

Time to look for a vendor.

So just to clarify, i'd be able to put a CE4 in a eVic?

Like jason says, if you just want to try out variable voltage, a twist will do. I got my evic on saturday and been using it ever since. What I like about the device with the 1.2 upgrade is you can set through the software a pattern, like 0.5 seconds 4v, then 4.5 volts for another 0.5 seconds, then back to 4. I like it more then my twist + mini vivi nova. The evic has a regular vivi on top of it.

The things i didn't like about it are the following
- charging in a computer requires the software if you want to vape in the meanwhile. It tries to upload and only throught the software you can set it. I am programmer so I am on a computer most of the ime. But since I run linux on most machines at home, this might be tricky
- sometimes i need to power it back on, while I am certain I used it in the last 5 minutes :)

A twist is a great little device, which I will keep using, but the evic is a worthy replacement. This is my opinion, and yes you might have better devices or other similar. It works for me and thats the most important. If you look for something small, then get a twist by all means

Also worthy to note, as the eVic is relatively new, modification products are only now just starting to crop up.
If size is a concern, you can buy just the control head, and a short battery tube kit. This would put it roughly the size of a lambo mini or something. Options are nice if the standard kit is too big. Or get both and have options right at your fingertips.

The other option (that has VW, unlike twist/provari) is a vamo. Simple interface (2 buttons and a trigger, same as evic) but no onboard charging or 'fancy' features.

I've got evic and vamo, and I've been exclusively using the vamo for the past week to decide how I like it.

Evic wins:
- onboard charging
- fancy screen
- MVR profiles ("11 watts for .2 seconds, 10.5 watts for .5 seconds, 10 watts for 1 second, 9 watts until done"..)
- Looks great :)
- Removable top ring. (If you put a CE5 on too tight, you can unscrew the ring and grip the threads properly so it doesn't unscrew. Ditto for any device that has wide 'shoulders' - the ring can be removed.)
ETA:
- Battery life display.

Vamo wins:
- Durability. (I've dropped my evic a lot, but eventually its going to break. Its more like a cellphone than a yugo..)
- Power. (Stacked 18350s is awesome, especially on a dual-coil setup.)
- Visibility. (The evic screen is pretty much impossible to see in the light.)
- Price. (Vamo at exhalevapors w/ coupons is about $35-$40 right now.)
- Options. (As shipped, it takes 1 18350, 2 18350s, 1 18650. You can buy sleeves to stack 2 18650s if you want a police baton sized mod :))
