How to:

1. Take a piece of ss rope, I'm using a 3/32" and torch good to oxidize. Let cool and un-braid it.

2. Fold and twist to form a double helix.

3. Measure and cut to length.

4. Wrap your cotton. It's easier to un-twist and wrap your cotton and twist it back.

5. Insert your wick into the wick hole (insulated hole).

Next step you have 2 options of going about it.

6A. Set your coil. Do the negative lead first and then the positive. Note that you have to seat your with on the cotton with pressure, you don't want the wick to be moving. You also want your coil pressed down on the cotton and has to be on the ss rope strand, this is important as you want to heat up the ss rope strand to be able to have good capillary reaction for your wicking. DO NOT cover the holes on both ends of your coil. DO NOT fire coil or you will burn your cotton.

6B. Pre-soak your cotton with your favorite ejuice. Fill your tank, tilt to get your juice on the ss rope strand.

7A. This is your 2nd option... wrap your coil with cotton. DO NOT cover the holes on both ends of the coil. This is very important as you want air to pass through your coil. This method gives you the thickest and most vapor production wick you can see on my video on my opening post.

I don't have a Ruck. I'm with Four Star Society. I may have even saw your Ruck if you showed it. As for the meet, it's happening tonight at Tilted Kilt Schaumburg. We have a private room reserved and have the whole line of Villain Vapors free to test. I don't know if you can go as you guys ride on Wednesday

Oh wow that's awesome. You guys always host the meet out there? Sounds like a lot of fun.

Btw rebuilt my dripper with a dragon coil like in your other post. Solid opaque clouds. Had to drill out my intake hole to 4mm. My boss was like ... are you doing? (he vapes an evic with a carto tank o_0 ). Going to attempt a dual coil dragon build on the prometheus.

Great build had to try it myself but twisting the helix is a .........., are you retwisting the whole rope or just one or two strands?

This. I appears to be just one strand. I'm not understanding how that wicks...

Ok, yea. Forgot about it being a 7x19. Cool. I tried a cross between this and your dragon set up. Had the whole cable coming up out of the wick feeding into a bed of cotton, but I couldn't keep it wet enough

Mine goes red after awhile heres the helix torched and and the coil seems as if it wont heat the strand to force wicking ... heres a look

It's on my guide. See how my coil is pushing the wick back? you need that, you need to heat up the ss strand to be able to make it wick.

Also, do not seal or totally cover the wick hole with your cotton. You need a little air passing through it to make your wicking efficient.
