Brand new coil head, but still getting burnt hits?

I'm running a Kanger Evod 650mah battery (3.7v) with an ismoka mini bcc clearo with a 2.5ohm coil in it. My juice is HHV Huntsman 70/30 15mg and Sludge 70/30 15mg.

Yesterday I was getting burnt hits so I tossed the 2.2 coil and put in the 2.5 that came with the ismoka kit, yet I still get burnt hits? Mainly if I take 3 or more hits back-to-back I get the burnt/charred taste I got with my old top coil style clearos with long wicks, however...this is a brand new coil and it took a week to get that taste in my old ones. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

try taking a puff, wait 30 seconds, puff repeat. Is it still doing it? If not you are not wicking quickly enough if so. I dont know.

remove on of your topical wicks, one only and then go from there.
