Have a problem with a battery used in a dual battery mod. One of the batteries drained to 3.2v causing the mod to stop working. When I took them out the one at 3.2v was hot and the wrap was starting to melt on one side.
I have put the battery in a dry sink on a rag.
It is still hot after an hour, and the hole in the wrap is getting larger.
What is the best thing to do with this battery?
Will putting it in a large bucket of water neutralize it?
How do I safely dispose of it?
