I'm having problems getting my 5v (Texas Instruments) regulators to work. I have been using two 3.0v cr123s. When I test the voltage, I get 6.6v, connected to the regulator it's 6.0v not 5.0v. I noticed there are 3.7v cr123's ... should I be using two 3.7v instead of two 3.0v? I thought perhaps this is why the regulator is not bringing it down to 5.0v.
