ahh im just as confused as ever. Some websites say the AW IMR 18650 2000mAh batteries are 10A limit and some other sites say 10C limit. I am just going to assume that they are 10A limit and not go lower than .5 ohms.

No need to assume, 10A IS the limit.

Technically, it is a "5C" battery. 2000mAh x 5C = 10,000mA = 10A

The link that dr g posted is a post made by the AW of AW batteries, Andrew Wong. The specs in that post are as accurate as you will ever find.

Awesome thank you! I will run .5ohms with them at 8amps then! At least till I get some MNKE batteries. And thank you everyone else for not letting me blow my face off!

Most of the battery sites I've seen have the AW 2000 mAh rated at 10 amp continuous discharge rate.
