Is indoor vaping legal in California? Of course, on private property, it would be based on what the owner of that property thinks, but what about public buildings such as libraries, city halls, and court house/civic centers?

Also, what about on airplanes? Domestic and International? Last time I flew overseas, I used a patch, which was quite a painful process since the "step 1" made me sick and "step 2" really didn't satisfy "puff" aspect of the analogs...

Is vaping ok in public buildings in California and is vaping ok on airplanes?

Thanks for the info. Even back when I used analogs, I've always been annoyed by intolerance. I know I got a couple of those nasty looks in Vegas when I smoked analogs inside Casinos. Seriously, if one doesn't like the smell of cigarettes, why go to Vegas?

But now that I'm vaping, it is a win-win situation. No offending smell (cause I gotta be honest, after even one stick of analog, I smell like an ashtray with an ozone around me), no tar and left over carbon for me... :)

I hope that vaping gains acceptance as an activity as harmless as those oxygen bars you see at trendy bars... Technically, I think Oxygen bars are more dangerous to public safety than these PVs...

Vaping on airliners is prohibited anywhere in the US. As tinkrrbell mentioned SB 648 is intended to establish CA state laws regarding vaping. Local laws exist all over CA regarding where you can not vape so you will have to look at those yourself. Basically, I don't vape anywhere that smoking is prohibited.

I don't recommend vaping or stealth vaping on airliners. I use nicotine gum when I'm flying or inside the no smoking zone at airports. Works for me.

Nice thing is that where I am, theres a local card casino I frequent (poker & asian games only) where they used to allow smoking but then disallowed it a long time ago. Today, vaping at the tables is fine though and they even have one of those machines that sell the disposables on the casino floor.

I flew from DC to LA this past monday. Am returning tomorrow morning. Vaped at least 3ml on the plane here...and will do the same on the way back. Used both an ego/T2 clearo and Vamo/vivi nova aboard the plane, in my window seat. I took care not to billow clouds, but didn't otherwise try to hide it. Had no problems or complaints. BTW...plane was full.

TSA did take a hard look at my vamo/vivi setup when going through xray at security...but didn't say anything other than have a good trip after deciding it wasn't prohibited.
