Ideology... is dangerous; it's what took the twin towers down and is what prompted lots of other atrocities too.

Do you think that these anti-nicotine ideologists could be considered a cult?

Weren't cults a threat to the government or some other such thing? I have a vague memory of the cult issue being on the news approximately 10 years ago...

Seems that this particular cult needs to be stopped, imo!

The anti-smoking movement's ideology - which is guided by an abstinence only type of philosophy - just doesn't have room for a product that looks and acts like a cigarette but happens to be orders of magnitude safer. In this case, the science - the health effects - just don't matter. The ideology is too deeply ingrained to allow the product to be given a chance of saving lives.

Great read and unfortunately very true. It's nice to know that some antis still use logic .
