I don't understand why lemon juice would work. Wouldn't lime juice work better?

Just a thought, smoking calcium carbonate would be kinds like smking crack - ie rocks. You can get calcium carbonate from eggshells.

Hmmm calcium carbonate seems the most plausible to me. You can buy it in extremely fine powder(food grade) at home brew supply shops(wine/beer brewers sometimes use it.) Also tums is calcium carbonate i believe. I used to use it for another hobby i practiced. It's completely safe to handle.....not sure how it's be on the lungs though.
