As nearly all of our customers (and many ECF forum members) know, my business partner past away on June 18th at the age of 78 from complications of many years of smoking.
AC Reeves is the reason I discovered electronic cigarettes. He would write handwritten notes in every order we sent, crossing every legal line of a suppliers directive - he would bear LOUD witness to how much better his lungs felt - all the while suffering from emphysema. I honestly can't count the times he told me he wished "these damn things" had been invented 20 years ago.
If AC Reeves were alive today, he would be the poster boy for e-cigarettes. Unfortunately, they didn't become mainstream until 20 years too late.
Since his death, I have recieved dozens of emails and letters from clients expressing their thanks. It wasn't until recently that I realized his delicate touch of humanity endeared him to more of our clients than any customer support I could provide.
He was a very dear friend of mine and I miss him greatly.
