no problem, i appreciate the input, so i can go crazy with the vents then? i make cannula for lipo, so i can do some pretty wiked vent patterns lol, just have to see if i keep em at the bottom, made my order today at MV just waiting for things to get here wooooooo
Here is an update on one of them, wanted to try a bottom button tube, still needs some tweaking, button is a bit too stiff, might cut it, still needs vents, tested it and it fires fine tho, also needs a mirror polish after everything is done, I might add a little more detail wise, groves or something not sure. On a side note, this mod is made for me, not for sale or going into production or any of that.

Looking good, are those vents at the top and bottom? A lighter spring for the switch would help with the stiffness, how do you have it assembled?
I fear dropping it in the house, lady would kill me if it broke a tile lol. Top is set screws and bottom is a twist on, don't really like how it came out but its ok for now, its a three piece design so top cap tube and switch, now I just need a genisis on top of it LOL
Definitely looks cool. It's kinda hard to tell but that spring looks to be about 10mm OD. Since you have the button recessed, you can get away with a really light one. There is a good light one inside of some cheap clicky pens that have a secondary spring by the button to stabilize the pen switch and keep them from wobbling. Might be worth a try.
Here she is fully polished, its pretty much done for now, just red to tinker with the spring a bit, switch is a bite off super t only cuz I had No other option for it, hope he doesn't mind LOL. Here are some pics, will do a similar one for a 14500 this thing too big to carry around.

Thanks nikotime, I ended up pressing a connector into it, easier lol. Heated the stainless froze the connector, slipped right in. Haha that's funny I just put it on the table and layed it down don't want it to tip over and break that lol
Made a smaller one for my 14500 battery, it came out good I think, hits really good too. I wanna work on one that uses the helix battery, that's my next one. I'll have an arsenal of stainless "matrakas" like my brother calls them. Comments are welcome.

Well is your spring conducting or just there for the mechanical need? With the two next to each other, that big one looks BIG.
Just for mechanical purpose, it stopped firing today, don't know why, I added silver solder where the button touches the Neg on the batt, it might not be enough so ill add a piece of brass on Monday,
Maybe clean the switch parts with rubbing alcohol. Have you tried a pen spring?
I think I got a box-o-springs from some place like HarborFrieght.
