That is really beautiful. I can see why you wanted to do the final machining/polishing of the T1 with the extension sleeve in place.

Not that the extra business is needed, it looks like, but an adapter for kr808d-1 would bring in a fan base somewhat smaller than the 510 crowd, but just as enthusiastic. I understand that all it is is a 901 adaptor with a notch for airflow.
