Hello!

I'd like to try dripping with a 510 long-barrel atomizer on my new Provari mini, but am unsure if I need to also get a 510 to 510 connector (sealed) like this: Short 510 to 510 Sealed Adapter - Kidney Puncher. I've never tried dripping before and am currently using a carto/tank set-up. I read that it is recommended to use a drip shield to keep juice from going down into the provari's battery area. Does using a drip shield require the use of one these connectors to raise the shield up a bit? Thank you for your time and assistance,

Mac

The Provari doesn't have a very deep well so a drip shield would be a good idea. I don't know how long your atty is but I'm sure it is shorter than a drip shield so that could be a problem. You might get around that with a long straight drip tip but then you'd have to take it off to drip your juice. The sealed adapter may raise the atty up enough so that you can get a reg drip tip on with a drip shield.
