510 Threading Doubts on IGO-L atop an eGo-V V2 Mega

Hey guys first post here so sorry for nb.

Bit of a background;
I'm currently using an Ego-V V2 Mega that I got from fasttech. Great VV mod, eGo and 510 threaded.
A while back I bought a Vivi Nova from a friend and I was really excited until I tried it on.
The threads were loose. The Vivi Nova would fall off. So I fixed it with some teflon tape.
While it was an easy fix, it doesn't feel right and I haven't used it since.

I was gonna buy an adaptor but I'm lost on that so I kinda gave up.
Anyway, my question is I want to buy the IGO-L from fasttech. Its a nice, cheap RDA that's great for beginners and I really want to get into building coils. I've had my share of experience re-building coils so I have some idea what building is like.
I'm getting 32g Kanthal.

Since my 510 thread is a bit sketchy, I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with the IGO-L and the threading. Would I need to use teflon tape again or should I just go and buy an adapter? I know you might be telling me to buy it first and then see but honestly I'd like to know what I'm in for.

tl;dr Are the threads good on the IGO-L? Do they fit on the eGo style batteries' threading? Thanks in advance.

All 510 should fit together. That's why it is a numbered standard. I'm sure the Igo will be fine. If it has the same problem, you might want to look into a new battery. If you're ordering from fasttech, you could just order another seven dollar ego from there.

Vivi Nova's some times have a crappy 510 connector with a too long positive post that creates problems catching on the threads of a lot of batteries or PV's. I wouldn't hold a Vivi Nova as the standard by which you should judge whether your eGo is going to have a threading problem with other devices.

I have a igo-l works like a champ on my nemmy clone, and won't fire on my mvp 2. But I'm running a .4 ohm coil soo it won't fire. no problem with the igo-l fitting on a ego
