510 completely fried?

I think I know the answer to this question but just gonna check. I have two 510 batteries that I use when running errands, etc. and one of them is acting up. When I put a cart on it, it stops working. I have tried SR and LR and get the same results with both. If there is nothing attached to it and I press the button, the LED lights up as it should but once I screw on a cart or atty all the way on, it stops working. Same result when I attach it to the charger - nada. Seems when anything is screwed all the way on, it does not work. Has anyone run into this problem before? I need to have two on hand to keep the analogs at bay but don't wanna place an order just for a replacement battery. I am now terrified that the other one will die and leave me with nothing but my eGo.

Any advice is appreciated!

how long have you had it, most have a 30 day exchange policy. try cleaning the thread with rubbing alcohol on both the battery and carts.

I am past the return period, dang it. I will try cleaning the threads and see if that helps. Thanks so much for responding.

Try prying the center post in the center of the battery up. I have an ego that I have to do that to because it won't connect.
