^^ another for me... to a degree
I used to do the dryburn method... now i will blow my atties out every few hours, just to clear out anything that shouldn't be there... and mabey once a week or once every few weeks, i'll do a vodka/ethyl alcohol soak overnight for my atties and cartos, water rinse (to clear out the nasty alcohol taste) and let them dry for a few days... good as new...
I have done the pot of boiling water... but stopped doing that when i lost 6 atties and carts because i forgot about the pot and burned the pot dry and scorched the carts.
ultimately, if using carts, it is easier and not worth the hassle of cleaning them and just toss and buy new... but i have kept a series of cartos good and running well for well past their "intended" usage. one carto was on my eGo for almost a month and a half... it was great!
