How about debridging and stuffing some of that blue foam very very close to the coil?

I would worry about the coil burning the foam and I don't know that it would saturate the coil. The wick actually sucks the juice out and provides it to the coil and without a wick I don't know how you would saturate the coil effectively. I think when I created this thread I was referring the de-bridging for the purpose of dripping.
