1.1ohms kayfun on provari, what voltage should i use?

first time using kayfun , my resistance shows 1.1ohm, i fired her up and lot of burnt taste.
so i lowered the voltage down to its lowest at 2.9v.
i don't know if the burnt taste was due to the fact that it was a brand new coil or the fact that my 1.1ohm is too low for my provari.

any advice appreciated!

The burnt taste is because your build isn't wicking right.

I vape on a kfl+ on a provari as high as it will go. 1.1 ohm 4.1 volts. No burning. Cotton wick

Make sure the juice channels are not blocked by your wick and if you are not using cotton I highly recommend switching to it for the kfl. Press your wick back against the build deck so the channels stay open.

so i been continuing to vape on and off. now it's okay but i'm not sure if i got accustomed to the burnt taste or if it started to work correctly now. i've gotta say though, this thing produces a ton of vapor and its pretty awesome.

but it sucks not knowing if im still tasting burnt or if im just imagining things now...

Clean it up and re wick it that's what I would do.
