So I'm experiencing muted flavor from a full tank. But when it gets halfway empty it's a better more saturated flavor. Any ideas?

Welcome and glad you joined.
The poor taste could be caused by many parameters. Suggest you try your juice in a dripper (RDA) and then in a tank to see if there is a difference.

It sounds like just a bit too much wick.
Try just a hair or three less next time.

It's a fused clapton that came with a rda awhile ago..pretty small maybe 2.5..or 3ID. Gonna try rebuilding later..might be to much cotton. But I'm using cotton bacon v2
I'm not too certain, but I think that a 2.5mm ID would probably be an optimal size. But all you can do is try, let us know how it goes.
Could even probably try Rayon if the worst comes to the worst. Tidi non sterile Rayon balls are best supposedly, but never had the oppotunity to try them as I'm in the UK and Grahames Cellucotton Rayon is okay and available from a lot of places.

So I noticed something. If you look at the pic you see the wicks making a bend to get to the wicking holes...coil wasnt really lined up properly. Gonna try a bed build altogether.

Not sure about what is causing issues but I do have a few questions. Which airflow insert are you using. What ga wire is that coil? I like spaced coils but your almost looks too spaced (and yes... offset a bit) If it's not wicking enough juice, two suggestions: 1. thinner juice (less VG, more PG) 2. Do "primer puffs" (suck air without firing mod) between vapes... helps draw juice into the wick. How many watts are you using? More info is always good.

If you zoom in there is literally no spacing. 70/30 ..35 to 40watts
RTAs are tricky... coil placement, wicking, airflow... but once you get it right, it's sweet because you can do it the same every time and it gets easier. Maybe this will help:
