It's true! It's true! The crown has made it clear
The climate must be perfect all the year

A law was made a distant moon ago here:
July and August cannot be too hot
And there's a legal limit to the snow here
In Camelot
The winter is forbidden till December
And exits March the second on the dot
By order, summer lingers through September
In Camelot

Alas, King Arthur is no longer with us ;)

Even without Arthur Spring has definitely arrived here. I've actually had some sandal days! It looks like the April showers are showing up early. Our grass as greened up to the point where some of it looks like it needs cutting already. That should work out well when we have an Easter Egg Hunt here on Saturday. It'll be chilly at 53 degrees, but the sun will be shining. Perfect weather for bike riding!

Gave ours it's first haircut yesterday. Still slow growing, so probably good for a couple weeks, but soon it will become it's weekly chore. Still can't get the wife to go for green cement and plastic pines.

But we do seem to be past any frost / ice at our altitude, so no complaints :)

For the first time in my life, I hired a lawn service to do the 'require' weed and feed, lime, etc, etc through out the season. My pool area looks like it should have been cut 3 weeks ago, and my front yard a week ago. The front yard was devoid of green grass last year just all manner of green weeds. They worked it through the season, then reseeded last fall.

It's nice to see the $$$ spent is paying off with having grass lawn again.

I'm glad he didn't mow because the higher grass made it better for "hiding" the easter eggs. The kids had a blast!

It's nice but grows so fast when treated. I think I mowed every 4 days until drought/heat came mid July.
