I would like to build a VVmod..

Have you ever used a standard single 14500 mod of some sort? Have you ever vaped at 5.5V?

No, never used single 14500's, No, never vaped beyond a m40x, this is pretty much my first mod and seeing how both the chips and the batteries are kind of expensive I dont want to make mistakes D:

But I do know boosting a single 14500 wouldnt last long, and since I vape at 0 nic, I'm sure 3,7V wouldnt cut it

People have had good success with the high drain aw 14500.

I have a 18650 boosted with either a paralell or single batt, off brand, but I get a good ~day on one battery. Straight 5v though, so its a little more efficient than a diode in series if you were going that route.

But my ever cool with 2 16340s is my goto, about 8-12 hours. I rarely use my booster anymore.

Thanks for the feedback rannox, seems like boosters are fairly inconsistent too? (i've been using search`)

LiMn(IMR) 16340 and 14500 have about the same mAh (550) so its just about chosing which of the two to buy.

Also, its slightly bigger, but to save 5€ i should just buy the PTR08060WVD, couldnt find anything else with similar specs and similar price (14€).

One more thing (i type too much ) if i wanted to buy something to hold 16340, what size of the battery holder(like AA boxes) are they? 2/3AA size? C?
