Wizard labs alternative

Is there a good viable alternative to wizard labs for DIY stuff. I ask because their customer service has turned to .... ever since they moved. They never have anything in stock, and on the rare occasion where they pull their thumbs out of their asses long enough to let me place an order, I have to wait almost a month before it actually gets delivered. So I'm ready to switch vendors, as doing business with wizard has become officially more trouble than it's worth. Any suggestions?

The only thing I find compelling about WL is the crazy low price of nic. I get everything else @ RTS or ECX, both of whom generally have good stock, fast shipping, and good service. So I simply watch my email for the note from WL that through some weird freak of physics they actually have nic in stock, so I promptly place an order and keep it in storage (freezer).

I have really been enjoying the vaping Zone super concentrated and gourmet flavorings. I have been pleased with all the ones I have tried so far. I feel like they are more economical because you use so much less in a recipe. Good luck to you. I know it is frustrating when something is always out of stock. I have been getting my nic from High Desert Vapes if they have a coupon and Liquid Nicotine There are so many really good places to find stuff.

There is a Deals and Steals thread on ecf that is good to check daily to find good deals. You might want to check that out too if you don't already know about it.

Happy vaping and diy'ing.

Looks like tonight is bash Wizard Labs night, since this is the second post I've seen bashing them. I'm not aware of any "move" so I don't know what that means, but from my own experience, they have been nothing but gracious. Actually I feel guilty because I bought so much stuff from them that I'm actually set for a year and have no reason to buy anything from them for a while, even though I'd like to just to support them. One time one of the flasks they delivered to me arrived cracked due to probably the post office, and I informed them about it, and without question they replaced it, just like that, no questions asked. I give Wizard two thumbs up

They have always given me top notch service and I have spent quite a bit of money with them in return. I got a piece of glassware with a small bubble which happens in mass production. John noticed it in the office as I was inspecting my order and replaced it on the spot without me even noticing it.

When I hear bad things I have to wonder if there is more to the story. They are some of the genuinely nicest people one could ever meet. Even the guys who process the nic come out to chat when they have time. I could do without the constant out of stock issue lately myself. However they do let you hold orders and combine them to help save on shipping. And if you truly aren't satisfied I am sure they will go the extra mile to provide satisfaction.

I sign up for their "notify me" email alerts. Works every time. I don't run out of nic fast enough for it to be an issue. I try to plan ahead, stay ahead of that part and I've never waited longer than 6 days for my orders. As far as flavorings go, they're everywhere! I've seen a bunch of good suggestions in this thread already. :)

I ordered bunch of stuff from WL last week and didn't expect to get it for while since they had a big banner stating they are backordered. Got shipment notification within a few days! But due to our loverly USPS, my shipment was sent to neighboring city (different zip code)! (btw this wasn't first time USPS screwing up my vape mail) While waiting on USPS to get their act together, sent a message to WL of screw up. Again, wasn't expecting much since it wasn't their fault.
Very next day, someone from WL actually called me! Not a notification or email, but a phone call saying they are sorry about the delay. But it wasn't their fault! I told them that it wasn't their fault and let's give it another week and hopefully it will eventually show up like other vape mails. But she said they will send the replacement if it doesn't show up within next few days. What?!? Wow!
Fortunately, my stuff showed up next day in a perfect condition and no further action was necessary. But the phone call and genuine service they offered blew me away and wanted to shared that.

I only just started DIY, and only have a few orders with WL so far, but all have come to my door within 4 business days of ordering. My last order was only for nic, and did the "alert me" thing too to get notified of new stock. Only waited about 3 days to get the message. Been very happy doing business with them, and they always seem to throw some complementary extras in the order that I do in fact happen to need. :D

I never had an issue either, and use them exclusively. I admit, I'm a WL guy. I get most everything from them, my nic, PG/VG, and most of my flavorings.

With the recent surge in diy'ers, and the threat of regulations, nic orders have skyrocketed. Any company that gets bombarded with demand will go out of stock of anything. There is nic out there for purchase but it seems people want WL's product. There may be a reason for that.

I would rather see an OOS than get nic that has been laying around for 8 months before I buy it. I can wait for a fresh, top of the line product. They are real good at getting stuff back in stock asap. You have to take demand into consideration when you place your orders, and you can't blame WL for the increase in the number of orders, or the people that just ordered 2 gallons of it for their freezer.

Case in point -
Participation in the shooting sports/personal defense increased dramatically.
Its up to you to figure out why, but here's a hint ...
Threats of persecution. Threats of regulation. Threats of retaliation/taxation.
People got scared. People started buying/hoarding equipment and supplies.
Supplies and EQ went to ZERO.

Its not vape-zero ... yet ... but does it sound eerily familiar?
