Hello all, I am having battery issues with my new RX200. The battery difference reads at about .1V after only a 1/4 of the battery life is used up. This is with two sets of batteries, each set is the same brand, that were never used before the mod was bought and were charged in an external bay at the same time. I should also mention that my software was the 1.07 version when I noticed this problem, but is now the 3.00 version and the problem persists. I was told that there is a special setting I need to change on the device by the vendor, but he couldn't find it and said to check online. I found nothing about this setting. Please let me know if it exists. To make things odder I took the vape, when it was reading a difference of over .1V to a seperate vendor. She threw the batteries in the charger and said that the actual difference was actually .01V. Any suggestions?

Don't worry about it too much would be my suggestion. A .1V difference is not all that great, and the mod has internal circuitry to shut down if cell voltage varies too greatly. It is possible you are seeing nothing more than the individual variance between batteries. I like the 3.0 upgrade, too. Somebody had to show me how to get to the place to input the TCR numbers for Stainless 316, but she's a vapin' beast now I have. Welcome to the board.

How does the size compare to an istick 50

I don't have an iStick 50, but I did a photo a week or so ago. The RX is surprisingly small for a 3 battery mod. L-R these are Koopor Plus, Sigelei 150, Snow Wolf 200, SX Mini, Smok Treebox and the RX200. The SX and the Treebox are one-battery mods. The RX is thicker through the middle, but it is amazingly comfortable to hold and actually lighter than some of the two battery machines.

The answer is that the RX200 doesn't have very good accuracy when reading the battery charges, which is why most people recommend charging the batteries using a separate charger rather than the on-board USB charging port. There really isn't anything you can do about it, but it's pretty meaningless anyways. If you take the batteries out to charge them separately you'll find that there is almost no difference in the actual charge between them.

Use an external charger (recommended by Wismec) and rotate your batteries. My RX's middle battery always seems to run .1 under the other two. I actually think it runs the display and logic technology (IMHO). I aslo think there if there is a .3V variance between any of the batteries the unit will either flash a warning on display and/or not fire as it is a sign of worn batteries. Someone feel free to chime in on that please!.
But please consider an external charger. If the USB port gets damaged in any way-no chargee and no updatee.

Have you tried the rx200 with a tfv4?

that is the exact combination i use. i love it. great battery life from the mod and good flavor from the tank. Just be aware that wismec uses a terrible 510 connector and the tfv4 may push the pin down too far to make it spring all the way back up. I have been using mine for 3 or 4 months and it still works fine with the tfv4. Been happy enough with the tfv4 that I havent even swapped to any other rdas or tanks.

if a problem does come up with the tfv4, i will just put a fatdaddyvapes 510 connector in there and call it a day.

I use the tf-q4 coil. On average, i go through about 200-300ml of juice before it starts feeling a little worn out(probably a little over the 250ml mark. I normally go through a little over a 250ml bottle through the life of one). Some last longer and some wear out earlier, but it is typically 3-4 weeks before they are pretty worn out. I run juice that is approximately 3mg nic and pretty much as clear as can be even though it is flavored pretty heavy. The first half tank through them normally has a bit of a break in taste, but it isnt too bad.

Read in the book that comes with Cuboid and it states batteries should be within .3v of each other. Same boards in both mods so everyone on this thread is well within specs. RX200 manual likely has it in it also. CHEERS!
The RX200 will display an Imbalance Error if they are more than 0.3v. Although the DNA200 and some others also do the same.
