I'm currently using a blu pro unit, which uses a small tank called a clearomizer, and uses a wick to absorb and heat the eliquids. meaning if i ever want a different flavor I need a new tank.

is there a vapor kit that I can fill a tank with any flavor and only need to clean it rather than replace the whole thing?

there are a vast number of reusable systems, do you want to stick with your current battery or are you looking for more battery life?

i ask, because the stick battery you have looks compatible with the Kanger Evod tank and the Aspire Nautilus mini tank. both are easy to clean and use replaceable coil units rather than tossing the entire tank. there are also some rebuildable atomizers that would work on that battery, but are a bit more involved than the Evod or Nauti mini.

There are a lot of options if you look outside the Blu system. If you get pretty much any mod and use something like the Nautilus Mini or Evod that steeldragon78 mentioned above, you can wash out the tank but not the atomizer (the coil and wick). You can either replace the atomizer or, since there's only a little juice left in the wick, you can either switch straight to a compatible flavour and deal with the mix for a few draws or you can run some unflavoured juice through the atty before starting the new flavour.

The other option is to look at an RDA or RTA. With those, you build your own coil and add the wick. You can then remove the wick, clean the coil and switch to whatever you like.

I think it's also possible to rewick some factory coils (like you'd find in the Nautilus or Evod), but I'm not personally familiar with that. If you're interested, try a Youtube search for the particular tank or coil you're considering.

Hi Stanton welcome .
When I moved on from the type of device you have I found a good local vape shop were able to take me to the next level.
Lots of well meaning folk will recommend this kit or that. IMO your just going to end up confused .
I'd ask around other vapers for a good local store where you can actually see the range of options . A good vape store should also open you up to a world of different juices.
You could post back asking for recommendations for stores in your locality.
The possibilities are endless.

Blu Pro

You actually can change the e-liquid flavor in your original tank. You don't need a new tank or new coil to change flavors.

The warning, "Only compatible with the blu liquids® and blu Pro™ Clearomizer" is nothing but a marketing ploy to get you to buy your e-liquids only from Blu. E-liquid is e-liquid, no matter who makes it. Blu may use a proprietary connector (I don't know this, but its commonly done) to force you to buy only their tanks or batteries.

Essentually, the Blu Pro setup is simply a generic eGo battery and generic clearomizer with the Blu logo applied. There is nothing special about either one.

The Blu battery looks like a Vision Spinner or Kanger Evod ego battery. The Blu tank looks similar to a Kanger Evod clearomizer.

I will advise you, should you purchase e-liquids from a manufacturer other than from Blu, there is a possibility that some flavors could be "tank crackers" if you use a tank made from plastic (polycarbonate). Usually, these are cinnamon or citrus flavors. It's not that these flavors are harmful to vape, its just that these flavors have a chemical reaction to that particular type of plastic. I think Blu uses a standard 510 (or at least they used to, on their cig-a-likes), but with reversed polarity. This means that Blu batteries and cartomizers should work fine with other brands batteries and cartomizers (the coil doesn't care which way the electricity is flowing through it, it gets just as hot either way), but do NOT use a Blu battery with another brand charger, or a Blu charger with another brand battery.

I would suggest an Aspire zelos kit. They're inexpensive, they take drop in coils and changing flavors is easier because you would be using coils. I usually run "similar" flavor profiles through a tank, or put a bit of unflavored in it before refilling with another flavor.

Some folks will remove the coil entirely and attach it to the juice it goes with, so that it can be reused. You can also soak your coils in either vodka or everclear for a bit, rinse, and that will aid in changing flavors. I don't use that method so much, as over time, it can shorten coil life.

If you want to get exciting, you could consider a reubildable atomizer of some sort or another. There is a large learning curve involved, I'd be more inclined to say to wait until you find your feet with drop in coils.

Best of luck,

Anna

Ethanol dries faster than water, and evaporates clean. I don't think rinsing after a soak is doing the coil any favors.

As long as your wicks aren’t burnt out then you can just through another flavor in from anywhere. Also, as previous posters say, when a company says “only compatible with” that likely isn’t necessarily true with these ego type setups. You can probably buy a tank with coils you can change.

Id go ahead and get a real mod setup. Blu isnt really worth the money. Youll enjoy vaping so much more and have complete control of what youre doing. If you have a vape store in your area, go that route first. They can help you a lot, you can look at different mods, tanks and juices. Some stores will even let you try out juices and you can find what you like or dont like. And you can go cheap or pricey, its all your choice. Granted, you can get better prices ordering online, but you wont get personalized service online like you can at vape stores. But anyway, now that you know what blu can do and what vaping is all about, step on up to the plate and go big lol.

Lots of good advice here. I'll just say that it's extremely rare for someone who vapes long-term to stick with the convenience store starter/aio/proprietary kits. I'd get an easy to use, flexible, inexpensive mod and a good mtl tank with factory replaceable coils to start. Then if you advance to RTA's, you can continue to use the mod. As always, a +1 on Anna's recommendation for the Zelos. The N2 tank is among the best for MTL. I quit smoking with that one, and got several coworkers & family members to do the same. And I still use the mod sometimes.

As mentioned above, you don't need another device. You can fill your blu pro with any e liquid. I strongly suggest you do a little vape reading provided below:
