Greetings,

I've bought some e-liquids at a local store, I always vape VG/PG at 0% nicotine. Today I've found that some of the liquids I bought have a hazard warning printed in the label (it read Xn: toxic for the skin).

I've done some reading and found that Xn warnings are quite appropriate for eliquids containing nicotine buy I don't understand why some manufacturers put warnings on nicotine free eliquids?

Last but not least, how can something harmful for your skin be safe to vape?

Many thanks in advance!

I don't have much information on why that is, but I've seen the same thing on zero nicotine bottles. I would assume the bottle labels are produced in large quantities all with warning labels for the purpose of efficiency. Being related to nicotine liquid, although not containing any, I think it's reasonable to still have it on there.

As for being harmful, I wouldn't think zero nicotine liquids to be dangerous when in contact with skin. I'm sure there's some info somewhere on it.

I would venture to say that it looks good on our behalf. Opponents are always arguing that e juice bottles are targeted towards the younger crowd...including children. That said, anyone who has a child who attempts to eat or drink a liquid contained in a bottle with a danger warning on it, has a much larger issue on their hands.

Nobody has claimed vaping anything is "safe."
