Check @Mooch's blog for his latest charts and rest results. Any battery with 20A or higher CDR should be able to handle up to 120 watts in pairs, easily. If you want to take it up to the full 220 watts you're looking at around 40A at low charge; no battery has a CDR this high and precious few even have MVA's that high. (MVA is "max vaping amps," mooch's own "safety limit." CDR is more about keeping the battery in good health and, as such, has a significant "safety" margin sort of built right in. Habitually driving a battery at max vaping amps is not recommended, as it is hard on the battery and will shorten their life significantly, but it probably won't end in catastrophic failure.)

Being the Alien 220w has a battery cutoff voltage of 2.8 to 2.9v per battery, this will be 5.6 to 5.8v total combined in the Alien, 100 to 110watts is about max on any 20amp CDR battery.

For longer runtime - Samsung 30Q @20amp CDR 3000mah
For Decent runtime with the occassional oomph up to 25amps - Samsung 25R @20amp CDR 2500mah, or the Sony VTC5A @ 25amp CDR 2500mah
160ish to 170ish watts max - LG HB2, HB4, HB6 @ 30amp CDR 1500mah.

I'm running LG HG2s in my Smok GX2/4 (in 2 battery mode very comparable to an Alien) working great, but have only tested up to 90w. Was running all day today 80w and 16+ hours latter bats still not quite dead though on last bar now. Have more than one pair of batteries of course but nice to make it through the whole day on a single set.:) Oh and I wouldn't call myself a light use vaper.
