Hey
I have look at multiple websites for flavoring for diy liquids and baking flavors, and none have any red bull flavoring (not a surprise) lol. Do you think it would be bad if i get a red bull energy shot from the gas station and used it to flavor it? The taste of the shot is so potent the flavor might be good?
Is is bad to flavor e-liquids with things other than flavorings made for such?
What do you think?

Thanks..

i don't think vaping an actual red bull energy shot would be safe.... there are tons of ingredients in the actual drink, and you have no idea what happens when you vape them. flavorings like loranns are simply PG and flavoring, no preservatives, starches, sugars, or other chemicals.

Yea. I know a lot of the juice companies sell it as something else like "energy drink" or "red cow" and stuff to avoid issues.. but the thing is that the juices taste SO MUCH like actual energy drinks that i don't know how a concoction of flavors can even compare...

my same question stands for Mountain Dew flavoring.

Lol, I, too, am trying to find out how to make some mt dew e-juice. a few companies sell e-liquid called something like "mt dewey", but I haven't tried them. Apparently they get good reviews tho.

I think we just have to experiment with different flavoring combos to find out what works.

Mt dew is supposed to be a citrus-y drink, but to me it's got such a unique flavor... i know they use orange juice in actually mt dew, that might be a key ingredient.

Red Bull has a very tart taste to it. Some people say it tastes like sour cranberries, smarties/sweet-tarts, sour lemonade, etc...

The hardest part in making your own would be getting the 'bite' that you get in the actual drinks... e-liquid(obviously) isnt carbonated, so there has to be some type of flavoring to add that'll give it the extra kick.

TIME TO EXPERIMENT

I know Capella's is working on a Red Bull flavoring, but they didn't say when it would be released.
Mt Dew does have a bit of Orange Juice in it! It's my soft drink of choice for the last 30 yrs. Tons of sugar has a bit to do with that taste. Have you tried the limited edition Throwback Dew w/ "real sugar"??? Yummmmmmmm! I have most of Capella's and Fairies Finest flavors, might try and put together a MD ejuice... I'm so stuck on Blueberry/Vanilla Custard right now though....

Mountain Dew is my lifeblood! I'd choose dew over water any day of the week...

I did try the throwback mt dew, i have a case at home! But to be honest, I enjoy the current Dew recipe better than the Throwback w/ real sugar. There's something about the High Fructose Corn Syrup that gives regular Dew that extra 'bite'. Throwback isn't bad, but to me it tastes a little more mild!

As for coming up with a Dew flavoring combo, I think OJ is a definitely a key component. Also, when the current Dew recipe was first released back in the day, it was marketed as a type of lemonade drink, so lemonade flavorings might be key as well. I guess I'd better get mixing...

btw i just ordered a couple bottles of "Mt. Dewey" flavored e-liquid from litecigusa.net. It's made by Rath and I got it in 24mg. We'll see how accurate it is, and if I can notice any specific flavorings when it arrives

my only issue with the rath juice is that it is all VG.
I like my PG - lol. PG has had much medical testing, as opposed to pure glycerin (or VG), which has not really.

I have Red Bull juice.. but i want to cut it and no lose the flavor.. maybe somebody can help???

Ok, firstly, I am not a mixer. I am not an an experienced vaper, however,, an experienced chef,,, of sorts. So take this for what it's worth.

If you want the flavoring of Redbull,,, just the juice. You can take a can and boil it down, in otherwords, extract as much H2O out of as you can by first pouring a can in a pot. Bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat to very low (simmer) for about and hour, to two hours until you find it feels like a syrup like mixture. Allow to cool. I would try experimenting with mixing to thin it out and try it. Otherwise, try putting some candy mixtures together,, like "Smarties" or "Sweet Tarts". I would think that would be a good try, if nothing else. Hope this helps. Good luck!
