When I say "commercial juice makers" I mean any business (store/website) that sells e-juice that they themselves mixed... their own brand. pick any of the moderately large companies that many people are familiar with, and that's who I mean.

Do you think they use the same flavor concentrates that many websites sell to the customer for DIY flavors? example: TPA, Flavor West, Capella, etc.

The most difficult flavoring I have works with to date only got to the in-your-face flavor level when I discovered it worked best at 0.35%.

Getting that great strong flavor is more about gentle nudges and crafting at tiny %'s than anything else in my experience. That's why I always grimace when someone posts on here that they are approaching it like boxed cake mix.

It takes a lot of trial, error, money, juice wasting and tweaking to produce a juice that you believe is worthy enough to sell to others. Sometimes it takes a mistake where you have actually added a flavour you never thought would possibly pair with another flavour to create a juice that is almost perfect to you.
You can't expect to throw a few flavours together and come up with an amazing juice right away. Start at low % and work up, make notes of everything you do and most importantly have fun :)

Many do use what we use. I do have a few legitimate friends that happen to be vendors, and some of them use nothing extravagant necessarily, but I do know some will use companies that you can only buy from if you are a business. If you search a lot for flavorings like I do, you'll see many companies out there won't even have pricing or shopping carts available -- you have to contact them and go through a verification processes before you can get anywhere. That irks me, but I understand it.

Edit: just saw Aik's post above mine.
