What paint to use for repainting your box mod, APV, etc?

Sorry, I am not sure which forum this topic should belong. Anyway, I have a device coming soon because I love the reviews on its performance.

The only problem is, I don't like the appearance of this mod.

I would like to get rid of those engraving or patterns. Is it possible for me to buy some kind of metallic paint to cover them up, if so what kind of paint should it be? Or, should I sand everything away, and then repaint it? What happens if it's anodized? Do i need primer? What kind of paint should I use?

Had the same problem with a couple devices. After much trial and error I learned that alcohol ink is my favorite choice for customizing mods. Sand down the exterior and dab some alcohol ink on there, wait for it to dry and hit it with some sealant. They turn out looking beautiful, in my opinion anyway. Check out some Youtube videos on alcohol inking mods. Big Lou East Coast Review does a good video.
