What is the Difference between a Fused clapton vs Flat clapton coil?

Just like the title says please explain to me the difference between fused vs flat

I don't know but maybe flat clapton has ribbon core or whacked with a hammer.

Money and time, that's it to me. I get it and have nothing against anyone running any coil they want but I can't taste anything different between a regular coil and a clapton, alien, etc. I worry more about coil placement and wick, than coil type.

Best thing to do though, if interested is either build both and try or buy both and try, you may like one over the other or neither at all.

I think a Fused Clapton is when he is plugged into an amp and a Flat Clapton he is out of tune.

Lol, Im pretty sure a fused clapton is just parallel cores but that would seem to make it flat?
Maybe a flat clapton has tripple cores IDK.

I felt kinda stupid asking but i guess im not the only one unaware of the difference

Looks like Fused Clapton is round core wires and Flat Clapton is flat (ribbon) core wires.

That makes sense, I just ordered a roll of both (vandy vape) so I guess we will see for sure.

I thought ribbon core was Staples. So a flat Clapton maybe just 1 core ribbon wire instead of 8-15 like squid does?? If so, I'm thinking about building flat Clapton, would be better if I want to use Nichrome and not get stupid low ohms. Using all those core ribbons would just be way too low for my liking. I don't mind a .1+ build.. I prefer to stay around .18
