I just bought a blu ecig starter kit and it's great! Only problem is that now I need the cartridges to replace the old ones. Questions: which cartridges are compatible with the blue ecig battery? What is the difference between catomizers and atomizers? What blank cartridges can I buy for the blu ecig and what fluid (juice, liquid nicotine..) would you recommend? I don't like harsh cigs, no more than 6-8 mg, maybe less. Also, I've seen the fluid online but with no label... a little too sketchy if you ask me... + IS there any way to fix Blu flavor cartridges? I just Java flavor and it's junk to say the least, no vapor at all..

Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you in advance!

The first Blu model used atomizer + cartridge. A cartridge aka cart is just plastic and stuffing with an open side where you drip liquid in. It pushes onto or into the atomizer. Carts are SPECIFIC to the atomizer they are used on. An old Blu with atomizer and carts has to use old Blu carts. Or you could switch to a 306 standard resistance atomizer and use 306 carts. Or you could switch to a standard resistance 510 atomizer and use 510 carts. Blu has a compatible threading with those models BUT never charge a Blu battery in a 510 or 306 charger or vice versa. Blu is reverse electrical polarity.

If you mean Cartomizer, we call those cartos, not carts. Cartomizers are what the current Blu model uses. Cartomizers are disposable combined cart and atomizer. They hold juice AND screw onto the battery. You can use 510 standard resistance cartomizers like Boge 510 3ohm (standard resistance) cartomizers or other 2.5 to 3 ohm 510 threaded cartomizers.

Thanks for the advice! I might just return it though, I spent too much on the damn thing to have to go and try to fix it! It's just a pain to have to send it back....wait for the refund....research other products...order another one form a different company...wait for it to be sent to my house. I bought blu because it was rated the 5th best by: Electronic Cigarettes Reviews | Best E-Cigs & E Cigarettes Brands

Plus I liked the starter pack system and it looked really cool. Can you recommend a better one?

Ignore web BS sites. The web is full of BS rating and reviews and testimonials claiming each BS model to be "the best", the "top rated" etc. If there is one thing BS sites excel at it's carpeting the web with references to their products to lead your money to them.

Blu's batteries are very weak. If you want slim, better choices are:

Joye 510 MANUAL (not AUTO) and use with blank cartomizers and fairly thin juices, use a drip tip on the atomizer to test juices. I recommend PG w/ 20% or less VG juices for the cartomizers. These would be blank cartomizers you fill like Boge 510 3 ohm cartomizers.

or SmokelessImage MANUAL (KR808D-1 threading) if you want prefilled cartos (can also use cartos from Bloogplanet, Halocigs G6, Vapor4Life) or alternately Vapor4Life manuals (allow a longer drag). This model has lots of prefilled cartos as well as blanks.

I now mostly use blank cartomizers with both of those models, and juices that are PG w/ 20% or less VG.

Go to liberty-flights.com & get a rivaSE kit...it's not slim, but the battery life is well worth it. get some boge blank cartos while you are there..you will need juice too. Make sure & hit the 20% off button at top left of website, you can get juice, cartos & started kit for less than a blu kit. I did blu for quite a while, I speak from experience..

Personally I would return it. I still have my Blu as mine couldn't be returned as I found ECF after the fact. I upgraded and bought an eGo-T and love it! I call also use all those extra packs I have of Blu carts with the batteries on my eGo-T so at least I'm not out that money too! Just my 2cents that's all. ;)

I would suggest you go with dormouse's suggestion. Magma Ecig looks overpriced and really doesn't give any real specs as to the batts, etc. and it seems you may be stuck buying Magma products. In regards to dormouse's suggestions you can see exactly what you are buying and the product offered is high quality IMHO.
or
email the company and ask them what size the batts are in regards to mah. I'll bet they're quite low.
or
you can browse through the list of Suppliers here at ECF. They abide by a strict code of ethics and if they are selling shoddy product members will call them out.

Magma is a 510. Buy MANUAL batteries or I will mock you when you kill your auto batteries, OK? 510 manual batteries are totally sealed metal on the threaded end so they are near impossible to damage with juice leaks. And on a manual you can use a drip tip on the atomizer for trying juices and vaping occasional juices. Also manuals make it easier to get a good hit. And I recommend cartomizers for you favorite thin juices.

And DESPITE Blu and 510 having the same threading, NEVER charge Blu with 510 charger or PCC and never charge 510 with Blu cable or PCC - I am not kidding - label the charger of one of them so you don't do that. They will melt each others batteries because Blu is reverse electrical polarity. Atomizers and cartomizers don't care about polarity but chargers/batteries care very much.

Thanks alot guys!! I appreciate the help, defo going to return my Blu. Bateries die fast, before I can even recharge the next one, cartos non-refillable (even though I can get different ones I kinda want them to be the right size) and the flavors give me hyperventilation just by trying to smoke them! I just wish I had returned it before I ordered the menthol's... I guess I'll hold on to those...

Just remember when buying a PV:
100 mah= 1 hour of vaping before you have to charge it. That's why I am concerned about the Magma. I don't want to see you get stuck with another dud when their are plenty of quality PVs out there being sold by reputable companies. If you are buying a PV there's no reason on earth the company should not be allowing you to check out the specifications.
And heed dormouse's advice in regards to:
buying manual batteries and being very careful about using the right charger for your batteries.
Whatever your choice Good Luck, Vapoor.
