What can I use for those little filter things please

My supplier sent me empty cartridges and the piece of wool I am using that came in my old cartridge has gotten very old. I've heard you shouldn't use cotton wool because you might not want to inhale it, right or wrong? I was wondering if I could pull apart some rolly filters and shove them in there after all those are for smoking? Thanks - Purr.

If I understand you received blank cartridges? It is odd that there is no filler of sorts in there. Are these the kind that you then attach to an atomizer? A cartridge just has filler and then needs to be attached to an atomizer while a cartomizer has both in one piece. There are a few types of cartomizers that use a wick instead of cottony like filler. Be sure of what they sent you.
If these truly are empty cartridges, they always came with filler.Not sure what rolly filters are but the material needs to be able to hold liquid in while also allowing it to wick down to the atomizer. Back in the day when the little black cartridges were the norm, alternative fillers were lipton pyramid tea bags cut and rolled or blue foam. I see very few suppliers even selling the blank cartridges so again, please double check what they sent you. Feel free to post any pictures or links.

There are lot of things which you can use for filters. you can easily get polyfil at your local Walmart or craft stores in the craft sections. Its the same stuff people use to stuff their teddy bears and pillows and stuff. poly-fill on the filter is best thing to use.

Plan B - which works better - would be to get some blue foam aquarium filter material made by Marineland. I know PetSmart carries.

With either choice wash & rinse it thoroughly before use.

i remember back a few years ago when you bought attys they came with an empty mouth piece i think i have a bag of them somewhere ,also what we used to do was use teabags or should i say the bag itself , cut it down and fold acouple of times and place inside of the mouth piece it wicks pretty good

You might want to reveal which ecig you are using to let people recommend specifics. What you are describing is a method we used years ago before cartomizers and tanks became popular and we all threw our fiberfill carts in a box in the closet.

And Ego Spinner and a few boxes of SmokTech cartomizers would be a great replacement for all of the hardware you are describing.

Walmart sells bags of polyester fiberfill that is used for stuffing pillows. It comes in two varieties. One has a fire ......ant label on the back that states that it is safe for use in the state of California. DON'T buy that one. Buy the one that doesn't say it contains a fire ......ant.

You can also go to the local pet shop and buy blue Fluval filter foam. It comes in sheets and you just cut a size that will slide snugly into your 510 cart.

If you have 510 threads or 808 threads on your batteries, just order some cartomizers and fill them like you did the carts. You will be much happier going a good portion of the day without refilling. I carry a small 3ml squeeze bottle in my pocket for topping off cartos during the day. They work similar to a 510 cart but hold much more juice and have the coil built into the device.

yeah it is just an ego 510, and yesI have been using filters and not cartomizers. Might use some tea bags if i get desperate. he has some cartridges I might order. or maybe I will try a cartomizer for a change. Just like the old filter method I guess. I live in Australia so I'm not completely sure what those products are you mentioned. Teabags I have lol. Ordinary ones not pyramid ones. Twinings square ones. Perhaps coffee filters would be a good option though, come to think of it, what do you think?. Otherwise yes he has filled ones at the store I shop from - evape. the empty ones just came on the end of the amomizers like somebody mentioned.
