I have noticed that there are different brands of Cartomizers available and was wondering if there is a real difference between them. I currently have a KR808D-1 from VaporTalk. I've seen there are Boge, C2 V4 ceramic and Kruger I believe if not more. Is there any that are better (better vape) than the others? Not looking really for longevity (prob refill 4-5 times) or capacity (regular is fine) just looking for best quality. Good vape, clean burn that makes my juice taste like it suppose to.

I'm not doing any mods just a week vaper enjoying the freedom of not having to go outside and get my nic :p

Thanks for the quick responses :) Your quickness does pose more questions though:

1. How do i know if the carto has pollyfill?

2. I have the Krugers and after 3-4 hits on them they are too hot, is the WOW at V4L the same? Really don't like this aspect of cartos.

3. upStomp- With those 510's I'm assuming I need an adapter? Something that will adapt my KR808D-1 to use a 510 Carto. Is it good for my batteries to run a 510 with them? Is the resistance of the carto different for a 510 vs KR808?

4. Looking at prices for blanks compared to filled (V4L-8.95 blank vs 10.50 filled) is it better to get filled to try the flavors before buying a 30mL bottle and getting blanks?

5. I tested my batteries and know they are 3.2v but how do I know what the mAH is on them?

Thanks again for your response and your time answering my questions.

I'm new to the forums but have been vapeing for a year now and have tried several cartomizers. I use V4L cool carts and fill with my favorite liquid. They do not burn as hot as the premium or WOW cartos and can be refilled many times. I also use a prodigy V2 with these cartos and they produce really huge amounts of vapor and flavor. Also I believe their vapor king batteries run at 3.7 volts.

All cartos that are not CE2 have filler

2. I have the Krugers and after 3-4 hits on them they are too hot, is the WOW at V4L the same? Really don't like this aspect of cartos.
Kanger, not Kruger. They are the generic carto that come with most starter kits and are packaged in blister packs of 5. They are the worst cartos I have used. The WOW cartos do run warm. If you take 3 good 5 second hit on a WOW carto without a break it will get pretty warm. They cool down in about 30 seconds though so unless you are chain vaping, they are fine. If you tend to chain vape, I would suggest the V4L CoolCart or Vapornine Turbo. They are pretty much the same thing and run cooler.

3. upStomp- With those 510's I'm assuming I need an adapter? Something that will adapt my KR808D-1 to use a 510 Carto. Is it good for my batteries to run a 510 with them? Is the resistance of the carto different for a 510 vs KR808?
You can use an adapter to use 510 cartos with a KR808 battery but I do not see any advantage to it. The KR8 cartos are pretty much the same except for the threading.

4. Looking at prices for blanks compared to filled (V4L-8.95 blank vs 10.50 filled) is it better to get filled to try the flavors before buying a 30mL bottle and getting blanks?
No. Prefilled cartos taste bad. I have never had a good prefilled carto. However, I have filled a blank carto with the same flavor liquid from the same vendor and it was ok. Blanks + juice = more gooder :)

5. I tested my batteries and know they are 3.2v but how do I know what the mAH is on them?
Only real way to tell is the size or how they are listed on the vendor site. For the KR8, there are mini/180, standard/280 and XL or mega/380. Some vendors advertise their standard battery as 300 mAh instead of 280 but in general the standard is 280

Thanks again for your response and your time answering my questions.

Hope that helps

Not being a wise .... when answering this... but the best are the ones you like the best.

Here is an example: I have a couple of 4081's. The SmokeStik carto's are generally deemed to be great. Personally, i am not sure i care for them because the draw is too tight - for me. Keep in mind I am comparing 4081 vs 4081.

I do admit this question can be quality related. However, much of the debate always boils down to what people prefer....

Vapornine Turbos are the best I've tried. Litecig USA premiums are VERY similar, but I've only used 2 so far. Might be the same thing.

They are both BOGE manufactured cartos. In fact, most are either BOGE or SLB. I prefer BOGE to anything else. They do come in different ohms, so keep an eye out for the ratings.
