Good day,

Does anybody know the actual weight of 1ml of 50/50 10mg mix? It's because I bought that premixed solution from my supplier as I'm too lazy to mix PG + VG + Nic everytime.

From this link the thread starter said:

Grams per ml conversion:
1ml Flavoring = 1g (1ml x 1 SG of Flavoring)
1ml 100% PG = 1.036g (1ml x 1.036 SG of PG)
1ml 100% VG = 1.249g (1ml x 1.249 SG of VG)
1ml 50/50 PG/VG = 1.1425g (1ml x 1.1425 SG of PG/VG)
but he didn't mention the 50/50 with nic. Does anybody know the weight? Cheers!

10mg/ml e-Liquids are about 1% Nicotine by weight.

So a 50:50 10mg/ml e-liquid has 1% Nicotine, 49.5% PG and 49.5% VG

If you use 1ml of Pure Nicotine as weighing 1g,

Then your 50:50 10mg/ml e-liquid should weigh...

.01(1) + .495(1.036) + .495(1.249) = 1.1411g/ml

This sounds about right because there is 1% of the e-Liquid (the Nicotine) which weighs a Tad Less than the PG. So the 50:50 10mg/ml should weigh a Tad Less than a 1/2 PG and 1/2 VG solution.

ETA: Just wanted to point out that this...

.01(1) + .495(1.036) + .495(1.249) = 1.1411g/ml

... would apply to an 50:50 Unflavored 10mg/ml e-Liquid or Nicotine Base.

I can't exactly give you an answer, but I am curious as to why you need to know this.

I usually ask my supplier to premix them for ease of mixing my DIY ejuice. I would be using
20% flavouring
60% the premixed 50/50 10mg
20% VG

to make a 6mg 50/50 ejuice, or substitute 20% VG with 20% PG to make 70/30 ejuice.

I'm planning to get a weight scale soon with d=0.1g at least, as I want to make large batches soon and calculating by weight is easier and more accurate, at least from what I've read.

Cheers guys!

If you are going to Measure Flavoring, I would suggest getting a Scale that can resolve on the +/- 0.01 gram level.

I want to, but I can't find it anywhere that can measure at least half a kilo at least, not even in fasttech.

Gonna go and see if bake shops have them, thanks!

It sounds like you want to Weigh some Large Amount of Nicotine Base, PG and VG.

You could always get a separate Smaller +/- 0.01g Scale just to Measure the Flavoring.
