I've tried several watermelon flavorings, and IMO none are strong enough to shine through the needed sweetener and sour additives. such a bummer.

Sometimes the key is thinking outside the box.

I suggest trying a bit of cranberry and or lemon lime with your watermelon. Rarely does anyone seem to use cranberry but it's actually used in many commercial drinks and candies.

Lorann's watermelon to me tastes exactly like a watermelon jolly rancher. problem is the flavor always seems weak no matter what percentage I mix it at. I have tried it from 5%-25% and the flavor always seems muted somehow.
I bought some jolly rancher flavoring by FW which is spot on but without the fruit. So I have tried mixing FW jolly rancher with Loranns watermelon, TFA apple candy and grape candy with poor results thus far.
While the jolly rancher is spot on on its own mixing with the others throws that authentic flavor off. I just started experimenting with this on the request of a friend and have only done two rounds of testing, FW jolly rancher 10% with LA watermelon, TFA apple candy and grape candy from 5-10% respectively. I think the perfect jolly rancher flavor cannot be achieved with a simple two flavor mix and needs some complimentary flavors, maybe citrus or as stated previously cranberry. I will play around with this on my next mixing session, anyone have any suggestions on what might work?

That's what i thought as well, the grape from them has the same effect also.I didn't find it to be too weak though,i think i mixed them both at around 10% and they were pretty spot on.Only problem is like mentioned they have the food coloring,so watermelon becomes a dark pink, and the grape is so dark purple that you cant see through it.They both taste good though.

I've had good luck with:
TFA Green Apple 19%
FW Jolly Rancher 4%

Believe me, I've been struggling with this myself, as it is one of my favorite flavors. I've tried capella's green apple, tfa apple candy mixed with the capellas, and about 2 dozen other mixtures, and the above is the best I've gotten so far (which is pretty darn good IMO) If you're looking for a good premade one as a template, Fuzionvapor makes a nice one called Jolly Rancor.
