Greetings Esteemed Forum Members,

I Picked up a bottle of Vegetable Glycerine at wally world. $3.88 for 177mL. 99.5% pure vegetable glycerine (I don't know what the other .5% is). Is there any reason I shouldn't vape this? I dripped a few drops, seems to be nice stuff.

Cheers,
Rusty

EDIT: Corrected to say "99.5%".

Does it say "USP" on the label? That is considered a requirement around here. BTW, if it is 95.5% VG, there is 4.5% something else. At any rate, without knowing what the "something else" is, whether 0.5% or 4.5%, I would not recommend vaping it.

Sorry, should have said "99.5%" Good catch. Thanks.

You know...I bought a bottle of Humco last time I was at wally world. Last time I picked up Wilton brand at a local craft shop and used it to cut my juices so I could stretch them out a bit. I figured the humco would be the same but hoooooly crap, humco tastes awful to me. I felt like I was vaping gasoline. What gives? I figured wilton and humco basically have the same product - but wilton is much smoother to me. Is there a difference between the two?

A year ago almost to the day, I had a bad experience too with Humco brand. Ran out of vg after a huge mixing session and was in walmart and noticed a new bottling design and said why not its only 2.88 on sale so I purchased and what do ya know it was awesome and in a side by side comparo with medical vg there was no difference again-- slight vapor advantage humco. I had predominantly used it until that bad taste event then switched to all medical vg/pg.. Try it again if you need its really good stuff now.. Its all I have purchased last 5 months. It sells out quick to at my local walmart always one or two left on shelf and I purchase every 3 weeks many people using it I would bet its in top 5 most popular vg's for diy. Now brand in health fod stores is also usable and much sweeter than any vg I have tried.. Caution tho it gunks atomizers if used over 70%..
