For those curious VPC is the manual curve mode. Sort of like a hand made replay. I’ve got an ageis, but messing with the curve function simply seemed too complicated to me. Some people really like the curve function though. It’s just a bit of a pain getting the curve where you want it.

I also thought it is complicated until I tried it. I started vaping a little over 4 months ago... so if I can do it anybody should have no problem... in fact it is pretty easy to set it up to your liking... it is just power mode in succession ...

I will try to explain it a little bit and since English is not my native language please forgive me if I will not be great "teacher".

When I vape in power mode I was quite often changing power level... first puff was too cold, next was perfect and third was too warm and fourth puff was even more warm... so I usually decreased couple of watts as I do not like very warm/hot vape... but after decreasing wattage... I was finding that first was very cold and all next were also too weak... unless I puffed a few priming puffs to heat coil before inhaling...none of my mods have preheat function but I thought maybe
VPC (variable power control) should work as a preheat...

So... I set:
P1=16w
P2=14w
P3=13w
P4=14w
P5=15w

When I press fire button coil get higher wattage to warm up fast and very fast reduce it to 14w, 13w and start increasing it slightly with longer draw to 14w and 15w... probably I never reach 15w as my draws are shorter than 5 seconds... all those increases/decreases are very smooth... smoother than TC control on my Zelos... without feel of pulsing...

Of course those numbers work with corresponding coil resistance so if I will change coil I have to adjust those wattages... but changing them is a breeze... basicaly the same as changing watts in regular power mode 5 times... I change those numbers slightly depending on different e-juice... for custard with the same coil they will look as:

P1=18w
P2=16w
P3=15w
P4=16w
P5=17w

It takes less than one minute to set up those 5 wattages... and slight adjustment to any one of those 5 takes 3 clicks to activate vpc mode and 1 -5 clicks to be able pres -/+ button to decrease/increase particular P level.

Worth trying. I agree it is something like manual "replay".

I don't have that mod, but I have other mods with power curves. I have used them on occasion, usually to give myself something of a "primer heat up" puff or two, and etc. They can be handy, and I definitely notice a difference, even on some non-DNA mods I use like the steampunk. Although, I kind of consider the board teslacigs uses one of the more "close it" a DNA mod in terms of how well the chip functions. I realize that is somewhat subjective, but when I use a curve, I definitely notice it, and I'd imagine one could get a nice experience fiddling around with one, as I have on occasion.

I still want a mod with replay, LOL.
