Hello and welcome to today's review of the VMATE PRO ( Power Edition ) that was sent to me from Voopoo. The power edition has a maximum wattage output of 30 watts with adjustable airflow and has fast 2A charging. Voopoo also has a childproof lock system on the device if you choose to use it. The upgrade leakproof pods boast a 30 day lifespan and all pods in the VMATE family are compatible. This is a compact pod device that packs a powerful and flavorful vape with a 900mAh internal powerhouse and is auto draw only.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS


The VMATE PRO ( Power Edition ) comes packaged as most devices of this size with a slide out inner box with all the components housed in a White rectangular box sitting on top of the device, packaging is simple as is the device.

I like having a box to contain the components instead of everything just being put at the bottom, it keeps things organized.

There is a plastic safety sticker on the bottom of the installed pod that must be removed before using, company's put this sticker on in case of accidental firing during shipping.

As always I wanted to begin testing the device with a fully charged battery so I plugged in the USB-C charge cable and noticed a nice % meter, battery bar and time left to charge message on the display screen, fonts are of perfect size and my aging eyes had no problem seeing them .

Pods are very clearly marked on the rubber fill plug, Voopoo says that the pods are top fill but as you can see they are side fill. filling is easy and mess free.

This device offers adjustable airflow by way of a slider control that is on the stiffer side when adjusting which I like because it insures to keep your airflow setting in place when carried in a pocket. It's not a feather weight but it's light enough to carry in a shirt pocket. A airflow inlet is on both sides of the device giving a more balanced vape in my opinion.

The VMATE PRO ( Power Edition ) has a very simple menu system in it. To turn the device on/off quickly press the power button 5 times and that opens the menu where you can lock the device into child proof mode, in this mode if the device sits idle for 5 minutes or more it becomes locked and you need to press the button 3 times to activate it, a message is displayed on the screen.
The other option in the menu is clearing the puff counter as well as turning the device off.

As far as making wattage adjustments simply press and hold the adjustment button the wattage on the screen will begin flashing allowing adjustments to be made, the round robin feature is on this device as well.


FINAL IMPRESSIONS


All in all I have to say that the VMATE PRO ( Power Edition ) is a very nice simple device that puts out very good flavor and is very easy to operate. The 0.4Ω pod will drain the battery at a quicker pace needing a couple of recharges in a day.

The 0.7Ω pod will almost make a full day on 1 charge but for me and my heavy vaping it needs 2 charges for the day.

The airflow is pretty smooth and fully adjustable so it should meet everyone's own preference. You will not have to worry about your setting coming off of where you set it whatsoever.
