Hello, today let's take a look at VMATE i2 Kit sent to me by VOOPOO. I will examine in this Test each of the features that distinguish this item. I hope that at the end of this reading you can understand this product, and therefore decide whether to invest in it or not. As always, my opinions are free and based on my personal experience.

The packaging of VMATE i2 stands out for its attractive design and attention to detail. The front features the brand and name of the device, along with a clear image. On the back of the box, the user can find all the necessary information, such as the packing list, warnings for use and the contact details of the manufacturing company, Shenzhen Woody Vapes Technology Co., LTD. The sides of the box are equally informative, with icons describing the main features of the device, QR Code for immediate support, barcodes, Scratch&Check to verify the authenticity of the product, and an indication of the color of the model inside the package. This approach to packaging not only protects the device, but also provides a complete and satisfying user experience from the first glance.

► VOOPOO VMATE i2; Introduction:
VMATE i2 is just the latest addition to the countless VMATE family of Pod Mods by VOOPOO, all quite similar to each other in appearance and all ergonomically compact. The manufacturer's goal is certainly to offer a wide range of choices in an already rather broad panorama. VMATE i2 on the scenographic front is not very flashy and gives up the phantasmagorical RGB lights of V MATE MAX in favor of a more sober and unique LED. The VMATE Top Fill cartridge is compatible with all VMATE Pods, the iCOSM technology with VMATE "3X" Upgrade promises excellence in terms of longevity, prolonged flavor maintenance and effective leak prevention. The premises for this new device by VOOPOO are interesting, especially in terms of flavor and battery life. Happy reading.

Considering the minimalist design of VMATE i2, I would have expected a less powerful device than the flagship V Mate MAX previously released by VOOPOO, instead we find; slightly increased dimensions, the same max power of 30W, and a battery that goes from 1,200mAh of V MATE MAX to the current 1,500mAh of VMATE i2.
Now the battery has rather interesting dimensions, just think that compared to the previous 900mAh VMATE Infinity Edition the battery capacity has increased by 67%.

► VOOPOO VMATE i2; Adjustable Airflow:
For this test I obtained the Forest Green color of VMATE i2 from VOOPOO. The zinc alloy frame features the vertical writing "VOOPOO" on one side, and the other side above the writing "VMATE i2" is the airflow, which is easily adjustable via a sliding button, allowing for customized extraction ranging from very narrow MTL to moderately wide RDL, the adaptive power is managed by the chipset always in line with the inserted cartridge, so all that remains is to adjust the airflow to your liking.

► VOOPOO VMATE i2; LED:
The side of the VMATE i2 features a 256-color RGB light bar that provides the user with the following safety information and current battery level;
• Pod detected; the light bar is green
• Pod not detected; the light bar is red for 2s
• Low power; the bottom of the light bar flashes red for 5 times
• Time Out; the light bar flashes red for 8 times
• Short circuit; the light bar flashes red for 2 times
• Overheat protection; the light bar shows red color for 5s

• Fully lit bar, battery capacity is between 75%-100%
• 3/4 lit bar, battery capacity is between 50%-75%
• Half lit bar, battery capacity is between 25%-50%
• 1/4 lit bar, battery capacity is below 25%.

► VOOPOO VMATE i2; 1,500mAh Battery:
The device on the bottom is covered with a rubberized surface that increases the degree of finishing. The Type-C 5V/1A charging port allows you to charge the internal 1,500mAh battery that charges in about 60 minutes. The generously sized battery allows you to reach 30W of maximum power with the 0.4Ω coil inserted. Furthermore, not only does it allow you to face the day without any anxiety about recharging, but the battery has also proven to be well balanced in the discharge phase, guaranteeing the user a stable power delivery until the last puff.

► VOOPOO VMATE i2; 3rd generation VMATE cartridge:
The VMATE i2 Pod compartment houses the two gold-plated contact pins for better electrical conductivity and there is a sensor for automatic activation of the shot. The 3rd generation VMATE cartridge is inserted into the MOD with a light pressure, mechanically by interference without any magnet, the click warns you of the connection, it may seem like a primitive method, but it is well made and securely secures the cartridge to the Mod.

In the VMATE i2 package there is a VMATE "3X UPDATES" cartridge; from 0.7Ω. The cartridge uses a rather aerodynamic and comfortable design to hold between the lips, the cartridge is added to silver ions and this would make it 99% anti-bacterial. The transparency of the material allows good visibility on the level of e-liquid inside. Furthermore, according to VOOPOO, the cartridge uses the principle of the Fresnel lens of light reflection that reduces the deterioration of the e-liquid, while the ICOSM FLAVOR INTERPRETATION CODE, it integrates perfectly into a leak-proof design, adopting antibacterial materials and offering excellent atomization capabilities for the best flavor experience. The refill (3ml) is done laterally by lifting a silicone rubber and without the need to remove the cartridge from the device. The large diameter filling port allows the use of e-liquid bottles with a rather wide tip.

The two VMATE "3X UPDATES" cartridges are added to the two existing VMATE V2 cartridges and this creates a platform of cartridges compatible with all VMATE devices for a wide MTL and RDL choice. As shown in the animated image below, the 0.4Ω cartridge can reach the maximum power of 30W only if combined with VMATE i2, VMATE PRO POWER EDITION, and VMATE MAX.

► VOOPOO VMATE i2; Final Conclusions:
The 1,500mAh battery offers long autonomy and constant performance. The power range is managed by the chipset automatically in a field that spans from 5 to 30W. The continuous cycle air control is finely adjustable and adapts perfectly to the power and range of use (MTL / RDL) of each VMATE cartridge that you will insert into the Mod. The vapor emission with the 0.7Ω coil is remarkable, the vapor is hot at the right point, the Puff is fluid and regular. During the period of use during the test, not even the slightest trace of condensation formed. VMATE i2 is compact and light, uses durable materials, and is also safe because it implements all the main safety functions combining versatility and ease of use without frills.
