Drag X PRO & Drag S PRO; First impressions:
Shortly after placing the Professional Edition of the Drag X Plus on the market (review here) VooPoo Drag X Plus 21700 Professional Edition the dynamic company from Shenzhen has dedicated itself to "refreshing" the two most famous All-in-ones of the entire market.

Aesthetically, the new products maintain the captivating style of the previous models, using quality materials for their construction.
The technical improvements compared to previous versions of Drag All-In-one were not limited to the adoption of the new Gene Fan 3.0 chipset with Boost function (for a stable and powerful delivery) but also concerned other aspects, which you can read in the list below.

Updates:

2. New TPP X Pod Tank with Top Refill and Replaceable Drip-Tip
3. Airflow system with 360 ° rotation
4. Gene.Fan 3.0 chip with boost circuit
5. Improved mode of automatic activation (or with button)

Drag X PRO & Drag S PRO; Feeling:
The Drag "X" with external battery appears quite high compared to the more compact "S" version and the "X Plus Professional Edition" also equipped with an external cell 21700. However, for the development in height of "X Pro" it is necessary to consider the presence of the new 5.5ml TPP-X with magnetic connection with AFC adjustment integrated in the Mod. For this reason I would say that "X PRO" is not mammoth but is taller and more slender than its sisters. On the other hand, "Drag S PRO" is really compact if you consider that it is equipped with a huge 3,000mAh internal cell.

In daily use, users will certainly have the opportunity to appreciate the greater ease of refilling of the latest version of the Tank (TPP-X) and the significant improvements with respect to the losses or condensation that the VooPoo technicians have brilliantly managed to reduce after a accurate study of flows and internal pressures.

Drag X PRO & Drag S PRO; front / back view:
These new All-In-one kits feature a zinc alloy frame construction and an ergonomic leatherette handle.
Front they use a vibrant 0.96 inch color screen (TFT) which clearly shows vaping data and offers the ability to view two different layouts; Yellow background (Smart function) with automatic power setting, or Blue background in RBA mode with free power setting.
The layout of the 2.5A Type-C socket and the "+" and "-" buttons remains identical to the previous version, while we now find the new multifunction button that allows you to quickly lock or turn off the device depending on the setting chosen in the menu .

On the back, the large DRAG lettering hot stamped on the leather is enriched with an "X" or "S" letter depending on the version and a "PRO" plate.

On the side the stitching on the leather insert has disappeared and in the lower part we find the writings "Gene Chip Inside" and "Designed By VooPoo" one on each side.

Drag X PRO & Drag S PRO; AFC:
The AFC adjustment ring is free to rotate 360 ° and is able to divide two opposing slots of 11x2mm each. There are also two small opposing holes for the type of MTL vape that may perhaps be useful if in the future new types of TPP coils for MTL are introduced.
The surface of the AFC adjustment ring changes according to the Version; on Drag X there are vertical grooves while on Drag S there is a fine knurling.

The top of both devices has an identical pod housing that is equipped with two gold / plated pins and a metal ring that acts as a support base for the cartridge and ensures magnetic contact with the coil. Under the ring and in a protected position there is the sensor for the high sensitivity automatic shot, the result is a more fluid and reactive vape.
Of course, Drag X PRO & Drag S PRO can house all the round tanks of VooPoo both TPP and PnP.

On the bottom, the only visual difference between the two devices is the presence of a sliding key to open the door and to insert an external cell in the Drag X Pro compartment.

Drag X PRO & Drag S PRO; External or internal battery ?:
In the first photo below we can see in detail the battery compartment of the Drag X Pro open and ready to host a 18650 cell with adapter included in the package or a large 21700 cell for a high vaping autonomy.

The second image shows how inside the Mod Drag S PRO there is a large 3,000mAh cell (not replaceable) able to help you overcome the anxiety of a low battery by giving you a lot of autonomy before recharging the cell.

TPP X Tank:
The new magnetic tank with circular shape has long been tested by VooPoo, the goal was to make it resistant to liquid leaks and condensation. The transparent PCTG material offers total visual control over the level of e-liquid in the Tank. The coils are inserted from below and the internal bell / chimney structure is made of sturdy steel. In addition, the refill now takes place comfortably from above by pressing a plastic button. After pressing the button, you need to rotate the ring to reveal a generous filling hole protected by a classic silicone rubber. The Drip-Tip with double o-ring and antimicrobial hygiene band is replaceable.

TPP Coil:
At the moment there are 4 coils available for these kits, Drag X PRO is supplied as standard with Coil TPP-DM1 (0.15Ω) & TPP-DM2 (0.2Ω) while Drag S PRO is equipped with Coil TPP-DM1 (0.15Ω) & TPP-DM2 (0.2Ω).

Operation Guide:
• Power on: 5 clicks on the Fire button
• Power Off 1: With the setting set in "Lock / unlock device" press the fire button 5 times.
• Power Off 2: With "- • Power" setting, use the multifunction switch to turn off the device
• Lock / Unlock Device: Press the Fire button three times (when the multifunction switch is set to "device on / off"
• Setting interface: Press the "+" and "-" keys simultaneously. Use "+" "-" to select options and press the Fire key to confirm
• Smart mode: Yellow layout, the optimal operating power of each resistance detected is automatically set
• RBA mode: Blue layout, power adjustment is user defined, 5-80W (Drag S Pro) 5-100W (Drag X Pro).
• Puff Clear: Press the Fire and "-" buttons simultaneously
• Charging: Supports charging with 5V / 2.5A. It is recommended to use the Type-C cable provided by VOOPOO.
•• Update: Software: Consumers have access to update to the latest software version on the official VOOPOO website (www.voopoo.com), the specific USB Type-C cable supplied with the product is required to connect to the computer. The side of the Type-C cable marked "▲" must be
facing down. Keep the device fully charged to perform the operation.

Final conclusions: Drag X PRO & Drag S PRO:
With a policy made up of many small improvements every time a new product comes out, these VooPoo All-In-One devices have now reached full maturity both on the aesthetic and on the technical front.
The new gene Fan 3.0 chipset offers power and delivery stability thanks to the DC-DC storage converter which, with an output voltage higher than the input, allows Step-Up with a semi-discharged battery. In addition, a new firmware with the TC option will soon be available for update.
The automatic draw finally appears sensitive and responsive as it has never been on any VooPoo product, now it works perfectly.

Battery management appears particularly effective, so much so that with the Drag S version I managed to do 440 Puff at a constant 35W, this seems to me a truly extraordinary result. The TPP-X Tank with easy top refill seems to me really well done, I pass it with flying colors because it has everything I would have wanted on the previous TPP and PnP tanks.

Vaping test:

- Coil TPP-DM1, 0.15Ω 60-80W (Best 65-75W):
GENE.FAN 3.0 with Smart mode this coil is activated at 65W and as soon as you start to vape a whistle is heard in the distance, it is that of a train full of aroma and steam, after a few minutes the room is filled with a blanket of fog impressive, you will feel like you are swimming in a sea of strawberries and raspberries. A show!

- Coil TPP-DM2, 0.2Ω 40-60W (Best 50-55W):
GENE.FAN 3.0 with Smart mode this coil is activated at 50w, the aromatic yield is just as high, I find very few differences compared to the 0.15Ω DM1, I'm sincere and apart from a slightly "fresher" vapor it is difficult to distinguish them without reading the value resistive indicated on the display!

- Coil TPP-DM3, 0.15Ω 80-100W (Best 85-95W):
GENE.FAN 3.0 with Smart mode this coil is activated at 65W and is limited to 80W, this is strange as the range indicated on the resistance is much higher, however it works well even at low powers, it is not my favorite as with selected 80W it seems to suffer providing hot and dry Puffs.

- Coil TPP-DM4, 0.30Ω 32-40W (Best 35W):
GENE.FAN 3.0 with Smart mode this coil is activated at 35W. Excellent resistance to vape creamy or fruity liquids, with partialized AFC adjustment and 35W set (Best range). The Coil is very reactive and also seems to push much more than the 35W set, abundant and "fresh" vapor.

Given that I have not encountered any problems when using these new devices, I highly recommend these advanced Drag All-In-One from VooPoo.
