Any guide on how to do it? Do I need to open the mod?
I think they mean to clean it with something like alcohol (no need to take it apart just yet) Put just a little bit in the 510 connection (where you screw in the tank), turn it upside down (you don't need a bunch going down in there) Push the center pin (should be spring loaded) gently in/out several times. Might take several tries just don't put much alcohol in there at once. I have only done this one (someone else could give you better advice) and mine wasn't messed up... just got a little bit of juice in it so wanted to clean it before it messed up.

Definitely try cleaning both the male and female part of the 510 connection with alcohol. A great way to clean the spring loaded 510 on the mod is to put a few drops of alcohol on a Q-Tip or whatever, you don't need much, and just push straight down on the pin a few times to make sure there's no gunk keeping it from moving freely.
If you are using a factory coil in a tank, next step would be to clean where the coil screws in.
Beyond that, you may be out of luck.

But also, what tank or rda are you using?

I did so far seem stable but at 20W Im getting 4V used to be around 3. I'm Using pharaoh 2.0 and only have this one.

Are you pretty experienced with installing coils? Could be that the screws are not holding the coil tight. Another thing to try would be to tighten the screws or clamps or whatever. And also make sure that a screw has not broken one of the wires I guess, but I have never had that happen.

Vapor1960 & uthinkofsomething appear to have covered fairly well.

In my mind this is a regular maintenance procedure (do b4 u have an issue). Sounds like has not been done previously, so possible culprit.

Important consideration ...
Have you already tried a different mod with the atomizer and coil that you're having problems with, as a way of testing if it's the atomizer and coil assembly or the mod that is causing you problems? If not, try this for the reasons mentioned.

It would help if you listed the specific model of both mod, atty, and specific coil configuration for others to help (usually in your 1st msg - future consideration).

Mix 70% Isopropyl Alcohol and 30% Distilled Water.

Use a cotton bud to wet the 510, the cotton bud just needs to be wet. Then you can use a toothbrush to clean the threads and gap around the positive 510 pin.

If needs be you can repeat, but you'll have to let the mod thoroughly dry out before you even think of using it.

It's not that. I have this for more than 2 years and this is the first time it happened. Changed coil and unmounted the whole tank too. It seems like the clening of connecters helped so far tho.

What is the actual resistance of the coil supposed to be?

0.6 I have to give it an extra loop and it's rading 0.63 now but it seems stable now.

Well if your coil is 0.63 ohms and your mod is set at 20W, it should be firing at about 3.5v not 4v.

So even though it's working better, your mod isn't calculating properly. 0.5 volts is a lot. While a 0.5 change in Wattage is not significant, a 0.5 change in Voltage is.
