Hello friends and welcome back for today' review of the Drag 5 Kit with the new U-Force-X tank from Voopoo. The Drag 5 device is a full sized mod featuring replaceable dual 18650 batteries in a C-Frame design that's a bit different from the usual C-Frame design. Maximum power output is 177 watts with many power modes including TC for users that use temperature control. This is a feature packed device with many customizable options for the user that I'll cover in the review, A new U-Force X tank is also included featuring 100ml coil lifespan. There's a lot to cover but first let's get to know this device and tank a little bit with some manufacturer information prior to my review.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS


First off I was really impressed with the presentation of this kit, packaging was top notch with a magnetic cover on the box, opening it up there's a white sheet of semi transparent paper with DRAG 5 stamped on it. Underneath the paper sits the wrapped Drag 5 with the new Uforce X Tank and spare bubble glass next to it. Lifting the plastic tray that the components rest in reveals a White box that contains The 2 PNP X mesh coils ( 0.15Ω ) and ( 0.3Ω ) and the USB-C charge cord along with the user manual , battery safety information card and a information card about the PNP X coils. In my opinion the presentation for this kit is a 10 out of 10, nicely done Voopoo.

I was sent the Sunset Orange color featuring a leather checkerboard design on the C-Frame and I really think it's appearance is stunning. The C-Frame opens by pushing the cover to release it from the magnetic strip that rides from top to bottom of the mod, I also like the look of the chrome edge.

Inside the device the battery polarity positions are clearly marked on the battery sled, I would have liked to see them marked in White though. A battery ribbon is also on the Drag 5 making battery removal easier. The 18650 batteries sit snug with no rattle when the device is shaken.

The new Uforce X Tank has the same logo as the original Tank ( 3 Dog heads popping out of star ). Coil installation is a easy push in from the unscrewed base, the top cap is a slider that has a good amount of resistance to it so no worry's about accidental opening. Top fill works fine but when filling with 100 ml bottles you should remove the drip tip so the bottle tip go into the tank fully.

The off centered 510 connection is screwed in not press fit like some are from other manufacturers.

The Drag 5 has 3 buttons and a 3 in 1 switch that can be customized to your liking. You can set it up to turn the entire device on or off or lock only the wattage or lock all of the buttons. The menu system is a easy one to navigate and has many options to customize to your preference such as color of the UI, weather to have animation of a flame on or turned off.

There are several power modes to choose from as well being ( Smart Mode, RBA Mode, ECO Mode, TC Mode-( NI,TI,SS ). T enter the menu press and hold both adjustment buttons simultaneously then scroll through the choices and when you find the one you want just press the fire button to activate it.

FINAL IMPRESSIONS


The drag 5 mod and the Uforce X Tank have exceeded my expectations, starting with the tank it's draw is very smooth but very airy which should make you air lovers happy. I like a RDL vape and the airflow closed down 3/4 of the way hits my sweet spot. The flavor is way above average using either coil but I like a warmer vape so the 0.15Ω coil in my favorite of the two.

I have zero cons for the tank other than having to remove the drip tip when filling, it can be done but in my opinion the bottle tip should be fully seated in the tank to prevent spills.

As far as the Drag 5 Mod goes I love everything this device offers and it's appearance for me is off the charts. The device fits my hand well and the device even has a battery evaluation setting.
