VG% vs coil life?

OK, so I'm still fairly new to vaping & am wondering. What is the effect on coil life regarding the amount of VG and/or nic, if any?

I ask because I seem to like juices with more (60-70% VG) better than those higher in PG.

My setup is a VW box mod, Crown tank & like to vape around 40w with .5 Crown coils.

Don't really think the VG PG or nic affect coil life at all.... Now some flavorings can. From my use higher VG juice dirties my wicks faster than higher PG juice. From what I have seen 99.9% of coil failures are just a dirty wick/coil. This is why I went rebuildable. So I could clean and rewick my coils rather than replace my coils.

I think I just don't like the throat hit I get with higher ratios of PG. I only recently got this new tank & the coil looked horrible after just a few days. The flavor's still there so I haven't changed it out or anything. As far as rebuilding, yeah, maybe someday down the road, but for the moment I'm using replaceables. It makes sense that the sweeteners maybe in some of the flavors could be the determining factor.

Yeah the sweeter and darker or less clear a juice the faster it will dirty the coil.

I started using 100% VG in my Smok TFV4 .15 coils, I would say don't use higher than 80/20 VG/PG... Too high VG ruins your coils because it's so thick

But not because of the VG but only because of dry hits. VG does nothing to the coils.
