I've been out of the hardware buying game for a little while, but I've come back to ECF for research and information. I've read several threads here in the rta section, but I haven't been able to decide on an atty. What I'm looking for is an RTA that can be set up with single or dual coils, leaks as little as possible, and ideally something I could set up for both MTL and DL... so essentially a unicorn atty, I think. It seems from reading in the forum that atties with tanks below the build deck present fewer leaking issues, but I'm not entirely sure that is true.

Do you folks have any helpful suggestions?

Thanks :thumb:

Look into Aromamizer Supreme V2. Dual or single coil decks (switchable). No leaking, easy wicking, 6ML tank.
Although I would not really call it a MTL even with air flow closed down. Restricted LH at that setting. True MTL patty's almost have to be just that...MTL attys. To find true MTL and DL is as you said...a Unicorn. That is just my experience. Someone may (absolutely will) have a different opinion.

In my opinion the Siren V2 is pretty versatile. It's organized for MTL but really has enough airflow options and build options to function well as a DL restricted hit, but it's only a single coil deck. The hussar coppervape clone can be configured in a huge variety of ways, and you can get single and dual coil decks, as well as a more open version with an airflow reducer. It's an excellent RTA for the price, very high quality clone. Juice flow is above the deck, though. It seems I am having trouble meeting your requirements, but you've gotten some good options already....

Best of luck,

Anna

The Coppervape is on the list of options. Yeah, I'm looking for a unicorn atty... Thanks so much for replying. :thumb:

What's your current favorite?

I've been a Kayfun fan for years. I have at least one of each type and about 6 Kayfun Lite Plus V2's. I vape the KFLPV2's daily and swap out here and there. I like the Augvape Merlin, Kayfun Mini V3, and the OBS Engine almost as well, but you can't beat the reliability and ease of maintenance of the KFL V2.

I know the Kayfuns are very popular in general. I'm looking at the Merlin too. I started to look at the Engine, but got distracted by overload at at that point...

I've vaped Kayfuns so long that they are just familiar and easy to maintain. Too many tanks these days try to be all things to all vapers and they really complicate things with air flow rings and juice feed contraptions. Anything that moves and adjusts opens the possibility of juice or air leaks and more moving parts means more 0-rings.

My Kayfuns and I have been vaping together for a long time! I have quite a few of the latest and greatest over time that I've tried and then returned to the KFLPv2.

Ive been doing some reading. I like the idea of the EXO MTL, but I'm now also considering the OBS Crius II. It's single coil, but it has good reviews and the build deck looks dead simple. The Merlin MTL is intriguing with the dual AFC from the bottom and the posts.

I have the Crius 2 and am enjoying it very much. There is a good thread for it already. I'm horrible at attempting links. @SnapDragon NY might be able to help. She's the one who gifted me mine and has been using hers for awhile now.
I was just reading your commentary on the Crius thread :thumb:

It is a great rta. Nano I believe will always be my favorite. Crius will definitely have a home in my daily rotation. Still can't get over that it doesn't leak.

It's the only one I've read about so far where users warn not to thin the wick tails...
