Hey guys I'm kind of confsued why people dont buy rda's with variable voltage mod's. I just purchased a Lavatube 3.0 and am looking for something that will fit on it! I have purchased a Patriot Rda BUT people tell me its not good? What are my other options I see some kind of tanks on it what is the best tank out there that will fit well / look good on my mod! The one with the most vapor production :) Thanks guys! (mine is the black one)

Kayfun is wildly popular here on ECF. It produces good flavor and vapor and is easy to build a coil on. The tank holds 4.5ml of juice and fills through a removable screw on the base of the tank. You just remove a small phillips screw and squirt the juice into the tank and replace the screw. The most popular around here are the Kayfun 3.1 and the Kayfun Lite.

You will get many suggestions. Just search them out on ECF and read about them and make a decision. Below is a good coil build method for Kayfun.

No problem at all using a RDA on a VV/VW mod.

The reason for the lack of 'popularity' is that many RDA users like to build sub-1-ohm coils and put it on a mechanical mod. This is how to vape at higher power (it's fun too) without the limits of a VV/VW mod.

I have something similar to the Patriot on the way, and will most likely use it on a mechanical, yes.

Lots of people use RDA's on VV mods. You can't sub-ohm most vv mods, that doesn't mean you can't drip on them!

The patriot is not the best; it gets better if you drill out the air hole (and drill a second one). I wouldn't throw it out, you can get a good vape on it, you just need to work on it a bit. If you're looking for a better dripper, you might want to check out the Magma, Plume Veil, or Nucleus.

If you want a rebuildable tank, the Kayfun is a good choice. If you don't want to rebuild, consider the Nautilus with the BVC coil heads.

Consider using Rayon or Cotton wicks instead of silica. And higher VG liquid will give bigger clouds.

My favorite tank is the Taifun GT............way more vapor than the Kayfun and less of a PITA to build and get right. Plus, you don't have to drain the tank to fix something. You will want to take the center air tube off the deck and double the wick tails back in but good.

Second, a Fogger v4. I cannot tell you how impressed I was and am with this $40 tank. You have to build a dual coil for it but it's glass (so, no tank cracker concerns), it can produce almost as much vapor as my dripper and the flavor is good.

I don't use mechs but I like the VaporShark rDNA a lot with RDA's.

Not sure where you get that people don't do it. I have 3 VV/VW mods and use RDAs on all of them. I have a Stillare, a Helios, and 3 no-names that I switch between. I also use Kayfuns on all of them as well. I alternate a lot during the day to switch flavors up easily.

Awesome guys so what are my build options for my Patriot rda on my lavatube mod (for most vapor production ;))

NONE!!

The Lavatube can not handle a high watt/volt output on a low ohm coil, which is what is needed for "cloud chucking". So yes you can use an atty RBA on a VV mod, no problem... but this VV mod, does not have a chip in it strong enough to tolerate the wattage or low resistance needed for "most vapor production" as you seem to want.
