    First impressions:
Cosmo A1 arrives with the bare minimum to be able to start using it. In the package there is the new 1.0Ω Cosmo C5 resistance, developed specifically for the MTL vape. However, I would have expected at least one spare coil inside the package.
Vaptio kindly sent me two of the three available colors of this kit. For this test I got the black and gray colors.

Cosmo A1 by Vaptio is a simple electronic cigarette that is suitable for all smokers who want to quit smoking, thanks to the simplified design and its automatic operation without having to set anything or press any button.
Therefore it is not surprising that the new coil is also compatible with liquids with a high nicotine concentration or with nicotine salts.

    Feeling:
The small cylindrical form factor will certainly be appreciated by those coming from traditional cigars or cigarettes, furthermore the handling is at the highest levels thanks to the small diameter of this device. In the hand you have the feeling of an extremely robust device, the weight of almost 70 grams is due to the stainless steel construction.
The glass of the tank is not replaceable, however it is well protected (rugged tank), so you don't even have to fear accidental drops.

    Quick On / Off:
At the base there is a very prehensile knurled metal ring, by rotating it you can turn on the mod, an LED light that is between the ring and the battery will warn you (white light, mod on), by repeating the operation on the contrary you can turn off the mod (red light, mod off), so nothing is simpler.
During operation the white light indicates a charge between 30 and 100%, the red light indicates a charge of less than 30%.
Just above the notification LED, together with the wording "Vaptio", there is information regarding the battery and the direction of rotation of the ring to turn the mod on / off.

    Adjustable AFC:
Just below the atomizer there is a horizontal hinge with 3 small holes (about 0.8mm each) this is the AFC system!
The slide is made entirely of metal including the small protruding pin that is used for adjustment, by sliding it you can use it; 1 hole only, 2 holes or 3 holes.
With the AFC adjustment completely closed not a breath of air passes (perfect closing), this is to say how the system used by Vaptio is made for an accurate and precise MTL use.

Cosmo A1 top / bottom view:
The collar on which to screw / unscrew the tank has a sliding thread, inside the compartment there is the contact pin for the coil.
On the bottom we find the 1A USB C charging port.

    Rugged Tank:
Like the rest of the tank, the top-cap is also made of metal, the knurling on the surface facilitates finger grip.
The two refill slots are generously sized for quick e-liquid refilling. Once the Top-cap has been screwed on, a sturdy white silicone gasket will guarantee the leak tightness of the system.

The 2ml capacity tank has an integrated glass and cannot be replaced in case of breakage. However, given the abundant protection, glass breakage remains a very remote option. The specific drip-tip for MTL is sinuous and elongated in shape, it is also provided with two orings that guarantee excellent stability on the Top-Cap. Two long vertical slots allow you to keep the e-liquid level inside the tank under control.

For this atomizer all the resistances of the Cosmo and Nautilus series are compatible, of course it is better to use those that do not exceed 15W (physical limit of the Cosmo A1 battery). To replace the resistors on the Cosmo A1 there is not even the difficulty of having to screw them, they are simply inserted by pressure into the tank.

    Final conclusions:
Hoping to have been as complete as possible, I greet you and conclude by briefly summarizing my impressions during the test.

Cosmo A1 is essentially a small and handy 16mm diameter Vape Pen, very robust and entirely made of metal, much more durable than other devices made of plastic.

The "twist and vape" ring composed of a rotating ring for switching the Mod on / off, makes operations easier for beginners. The LED light above the ring also shows the on / off signal and the current battery charge level.

The writings on the body and the knurls on the moving parts are of good quality. The chipset is able to manage a constant power supply so that no performance drops are felt except in the very last puffs and with the battery completely discharged.

The small integrated 900mah battery honestly does its job, the device is fully charged in 60 minutes and during the life cycle of the battery I managed to vaporize about 3ml of liquid. This is certainly a good result in terms of autonomy as consumption is limited.

The new C5 resistance like all the other Cosmo-Coils from Vaptio seems to be successful. Thanks to a perfect air regulation system for the MTL vape, this coil offers a very good aromatic yield ... Low consumption of liquid, discrete vapor production (never too hot), hit in the throat (hit) present and of good intensity.

Cosmo A1, for beginners, is certainly one of the best choices (Entry level) currently available on the market for price and performance.
This is why I feel I can recommend it.

Thanks to Vaptio for sending me the product for free in exchange for my honest evaluation.
    Cosmo A1
